@@RealLifeAlias You have to get in, not get hit, or put in a blockstring and land an HKD to even run the mixups. Setting up the opportunity to mix is the hard play not the mixups themselves. Same goes for Pot, honestly. They have the same goal, but Pot has strong anti air options, much bigger normals and more hp, so he usually wins.

Literally what made them decide that nerfing Millia was a good idea? Millia already had issues and they made her best move complete shit. All the while goldlewis and ramlethal get nuclear bombs and somehow Nago, Ram, and Johnny got buffed… ArcSys literally just hates Millia and has zero clue how the character works.

This Millia has also been on this channel before getting beat when they were only high rank while Consomme has been a consistent Top 5 Pot for a while now. So yes there is actually a large rank difference.

How do you even buff millia? Is it just risk-reward balancing? 4:03 Even if she has to work for it harder than most, she can do damage. And, if you've ever played against a good Millia you know that it is: i) annoying to pin her down in neutral, and, ii) difficult to defend against her if she gets a knockdown on you (even if you only have to guess right a few times lol).

Biggest mistake you can make is trying to chase a Millia. She needs to get in to do anything to you so play defensively. Air throw beats both Kapel (this one got nerfed even) and IAD. Alternatively you can meet her in the air with a bigger normal if you have one or backdash to create space against air attempts. On ground almost the entire cast outranges her, so just poke and confirm into damage. Throw out lows (2M, 2K) to counter mirazh attempts. If she ever does get in: On throw, she doesn't really get her 4 way. You can jump, unless she j.5Ks. You can 6p the j.5K, unless she j.5Hs, but then you can jump. Its RPS. On any other HKD you have to hold the mix, deflect shield or burst. I win like 90% of all matches against Millia like this.

Pot is not actually nerfed as I can see, his gameplay just shifted from kara garuda/karabuster spam into HFB combos, it`s a rework, not nerf.

It makes no sense to play Millia in this game, Arcsys managed to kill a character that was already dead... seriously, if you lose to a Millia, it wasn't because of the merit of the guy who played her (I was one of those until I left her and the game), but it's because you're bad, because she's one of the weakest characters in this game and after this update she got even weaker.
