I said this before, I wish the writers would tell us what Jason went through during the time he was away.

Sam hadn't changed. Her priorities were different because that's what happens after 20 years and 2 kids. People's values can stay the same, but their priorities rarely can. But Jason's priorities never changed. Anyone can clean up Carly and Sonny's messes, hell other people have for years during Jason's absences. But ONLY Jason was Sam's husband or Danny's father. And yet somehow, Jason still never put them first unless their lives were in danger. And how exactly had Jason changed when he came back the first time? He just went right back to being Sonny's right hand man and telling Carly to count to 10. He didn't even think about all the time he lost with Danny that he'd never get back.

Lol there’s never going to be a time when he’s not at her beck in call. In reality most of the time she doesn’t even have to ask him. He’s always going to be there for Carly regardless of what’s going on in the rest of his life because he legitimately can’t stop himself from doing so. Mostly because he doesn’t want to, he enjoys being her everything.

Honestly, I'm not even a major JaSam fan, but this dialogue was such a slap in the face to their rich history. JaSam vs Liason has been the show's bread & butter. Add Lucky and LuLu into the mix & we have ourselves some soapy goodness. I mean wtf are the writers doing? I remember SBu said they changed the story. I have to wonder what was Jason's original return storyline supposed to be bc this BS is not it.

@@pb4ugo19 the actor wanted to see the outcome of after Jarly got married, I don't see why people are mad that the natural outcome of them putting each other before everyone. It is actually wrong to want someone to be in a relationship with them knowing if they are giving a choice Jarly would prevail, he jokes about Carly having his baby and called being Joss stepdad before the storyline came out. I think they started to change the Jarly outcome or write it so low-key people would be experiencing their love development without realizing it.

Looks like Jasons officially done with being in the mob. He called his choice to get back his old life with Sam and the mob a mistake, and one he is NOT going to make again. Oof. He finally realized that being in the mob has taken too much from him and its made him lose so much time with his sons. I think he's gonna get back with Liz pretty soon. He's definitely not going to get back with Sam. He's already tried that, called it a mistake, and said that trying to get back with her and back to the life they had together just lead to a breakup. Britt is no longer in the picture. He pretty much just put Carly in the friendzone again. With how he corrected carly on her kind of love vs what he had with Britt. He clearly sees them as friends. The only one he hasnt mentioned was liz, and thats only bc he hasnt been with liz in so long because of Sam and bc of how he chose the mob life with her. But now that he clearly doesnt want to go back to that kind of life, i think he may be ready to finally settle down, and hes been spending a lot of time with Liz lately. I think he may start to be open to a living a life with her again, and this time, it'll probably actually work between them.
