I thought the same thing. Her memories were obvious. Why else would she go to the likes of Cyrus. Even if he is considered a powerful man, he’s a dangerous man. It’s like her seeking out Oz for the burner phone. Without her memories, she would have gone to Martin or Laura. Instead she went to the most ruthless person she knows. Esme needs Ace bc without him she has no buffer to keep her out of jail.
