Part 44 of L&L 1981 playlist
Luke enlists Joe to help him get rid of the tail. Laura delivers something to Kurt Wheeler... things there seem a little weird to me. A job well done by Joe. (Okay, I needed a fix...(it's 2am and I should be sleeping).... thought you might too! ; ). Just going to post a couple. )

I LOL'd when Joe told Luke "Yes Dear." Their friendship has developed so much in the last year. These actors would have been great together in a buddy movie, a little like Redford and Newman.

I thank you so very much it has gotten me through Covid and now my husband very seriously Ill. Such a relief to escape with these great cast members with such good scripts. I don’t watch regular tv it’s all trashy. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this. It is truly like buried treasure reborn. I can’t even tell you how many timebIve been through them 1979-1981 and 1983 parts. Wonderful. Indescribable. Such genius. Thank you for capturing it and then working to post it. ❤❤❤

wow VHS is so bad glad they have CDs now... but its a shame about the older shows, movies too, they get so worn ... but thnk you for putting these out there so I can watch again I forgot alot...... of the back story Love Luke and Laura always have always will Hope they get together again lol.

The videotape can be digitally restored but it can't be better than the original source. ABC and the other networks needs to start restoring their programming the way films are restored now. It's still a very involved process and takes lots of money. CBS seems to be dedicated to restoration right now. They are creating a channel which will show quite a bit of their old programming and that will help. I don't know how they will choose though.

Don't forget that the shows were made on videotape. Much higher quality than home video but not HD. Changes have pluses and minuses.

Laura already knows what she knows... she has always had great intuition.... she is poking around with the questions.. but the truth is Luke never flat out lies to her M, not even to protect himself... He does trust her in that regard, but they have a significant history together.

Yes you are sooo right Laura always had a significant history Love and a high regard for truthfulness and respect for each other and for there togetherness. There tenderness and soulmate love was EPIC and it always will be, that is why whatever HH higher up’s might try to shove down our HH fan friend’s throats. None of us which are many wont believe to drink that cool-aid....Never going to happen..JMVHO. Rosie with much love.Sorry GH higher-up’s .

The actor left to go on Knots Landing. He stayed for four years and of course played a super nice guy. Not sure what he did after leaving Knots though.

Terri Coleman Doug Sheenan then played in a tv sitcom with Courtney Thorn-Smith, it wasn't very popular and I forgot the name. I came across the show on YT.

I don't get why Luke had Joe running all over town leading the tail around when all he(Luke) was doing was working at the diner. Seems like he'd(Luke) have had Joe waited until he(Luke) needed to leave the diner for Joe to start the trail. Joe is so adorable.

YEah... boy next door type ..yep sound like me... Luke scared the living daylights out of me... I just appreciated Laura's perspective and learned to love him! Though Tony Geary I loved from the second I saw him on screen.... wicked amazing actor.

I was 22 when TG/Luke and Laura originally aired. I remember having to hurry home from everywhere and not going out at the time of day GH was airing. I will never forget the feeling I had when Luke came up out of that water and grabbed Laura's ankle. I was so excited, happy, thrilled, scared and apprehensive all at the same time. I wanted Luke and Laura to get together so badly. They just had to be. And they were.:) .
