I think the simply answer is in Classical Arabic poetry, such as the Seven Odes, where poets use to recount meeting their Beloved, only for the encounter to be a brief moment in time. Even the virginity is taken once in this life and all the yearnings prior to this meeting end in a single night of passion never to return. The poet then would dwell on the transitory nature of life. The Quran completely flips the scenario and is essentially saying that the “nights will never end” and the experience with ones Beloved will be fresh and every encounter like a first. Like Respected Ghamidi states, the Hoor is simply a description of the eyes, in the context of how the Arabs described the beauty of the women in this encounter. Further, the large eyes are meant contrast the ‘shyness’ in the encounter, including the various gazes that occur. The fact this element of shyness is present also explains why the main addressee seem to be male, while the audience is both male and female. The Quran is simply describing the male-female relations in the next life, in the cultural context the Arabs were familiar with via their poetry. Further, In every civilization, the greatest expressions of literature were around the love of couples like Romeo and Juliet, Layla and Majnu and so on. The fact is, even these works appeal to the female audience and their desire for love and yearning to be with somebody she loves. It is dogma that turned it into a ‘male thing’ only.

Two things clarify and hopefully you'll ask questions 1- What is meant by Hadith Qudsy every one has 2 wives/spouse? 2- لم يطمثهن إنس قبلهم ولا جآن ؟ And most of these women are already in relation to human in this world in any of aspects..

@@kashishkhan378 same even I didn't get to know this thing but I think that when ghamdi sahb was giving an explanation from Holy Quran at that time there was no such thing which he said so even if the hadith is authentic we don't know if it's right or not because they have been written after the death of our Holy Prophet. Moreover this thing is not mentioned in Quran so I'd say that we should give priority to Quran as it is in its original form without any changes. And if we come to think of this thing it's not acceptable even if a man in this world has 3 or 4 wifes then if 2 of them are with him what about the rest? So I guess the husband wife in this world will be husband wife over there. And if a man has 1 wife he'll have the same over there

Kindly explain about the 2 wives? And if Allah will take away women's need of being loyal to, why wouldn't Allah take away a man's need of having more women? Isn't this unfair with women? It was not appropriate for that time. Almighty kept the sensitivities of people of that time. In Quran, tells us about a couple who prayed for a child. To describe intercourse, Allah used the words " jab husband ney uss per chaa gaya " instead to using graphic language for the same reason.

When he says that "حور" is an adjective why he does not tell us that the word "عورت" is also an adjective. It means flaw. An example is this prayer when we see a bad dream we pray to ALLAH "اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِنَا وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِنَا".In this prayer "عَوْرَاتِنَا" means flaws. But this meaning does not mean that "عورت" or woman has no exitance. Same is the case of "حور".It may be an adjective with a meaning of woman with white skin but "حور" may also exist in real form in Jannah just like "عورت" exist in real form in this world.

We are souls in essence. The souls are in bodies that are males and females in this world for worldly needs (procreation etc). The reality of genders is quite fluid also. Within a single lifetime, males can turn into females with gender reassignment procedures. Same is true for some females. To think that genders are set in stone and will carry on into hereafter, is very simplistic. What if all souls are embodied as males in paradise and are provided with female companions created from out of nothing from this world. What if gender is a meaningless idea in the next world and you can be whatever you want to be.

As a women.. I feel empty and clueless about myself.. As every womam can not be wali Allah.. As i want to listen.. Like men want things for them(most of the men even want everything for them.. In this world n after world) ... This is deep depression... Which im facing from very young age...about that topic.... Becase..whenever i want to feel about Allah... I can not feel which i want to feel.. .now im tired.... Allah love men more then women...what u feel abput ur parents... Who dont love u as they love other siblings ...it is painful .. I feel hurt.... N want to commit suicide... to get rid outof this pain even i tried hard to overcome... But couldn't... Why Allah didn't say anything like that for female... Even sometimes men tease more physically n emotionally... But why only for female who tease man....hese kind of words like step mother can talk. N this is about most of the matters .... Why Allah dont make us feel better about jannah... Isn't it is more difficult for women to get jannah with this feeling... Why u dont keep urself at our place... N feel like us... Its not only me.. But so many of us... Who hink n feel... I can't describe all i feel.... Even my pain get higher to talk about my feelings... Most disgraced.. Mose useless feelings... That even Allah don't care about.....(astaghfirulla but im under deep burden since my childhood when i started reading books )... Then why we female r on the same ground.. N battling hard to get jannah.... Even sometimes face more duties n more limitations....but there is nothing for emotional satisfaction for us..... Why we r only "jism" .......( Allah is merciful....he will forgive me. In Sha Allah... But there is some reason to write this...as i know many of us who feel like that.... Sometime.. On the peak of depression... But don't even talk about their feelimgs.... N this roller-coaster.... Go round the life..... As i don't clam every female can relate to this....)n even i know nobody can fill that holes except Allah......

Sister pls calm down there is nothing to worry abou Allah has given different duties to different people like man has to go outside and look to earn with hardwork and woman has to keep mens house going. And also in jannat you will have whatever you demand from Allah . As it is in quran that in jannat you will have whatever you want no need to ne confused that Allah love men more then woman . Allah never claimed that He loves men more then woman it is us that thinks so if so. He is the all knowing the creator the the biggest of all is that He creates you and give you the light of islam if i am not wrong you must be borned a muslim and think about those who are borned in cristian family so those will argue that it was injust that you(Allah] send us in non muslim family. Thats why Allah gave them mind and shaoor of himself in his inner sense from his birth . So to sum up Allah have given different duties to different people same he gives different situations to different people to testify . Allah has most time called ya ayu hallazeena amanu Or ya ayu hannas I think you got my point. So there is nothing injust in Allah division many men wanted to be borned as woman and many woman to men but it is Allah who is the creater and He knows the best and He has proved this infinite many times in infinite many ways. You will have whatever you want in jannah inshallah but first thing first that we have to go there by following Nabi (S.A.W) and who said you cant be wali Allah you can if you follow rasool (S.A.W) as our mothers umahatulmomineen did and as hazrat merium A.S and many others.

Irrespective of the subject of existence of KHOORS, when you explained the Translation of Qur'an by Shah Abdul Qadir, you tried to prove as if it was the problem originated later on when Non-Arab people misinterpret the word KHOOR. But when you explained the Tafseer By Imam Razi, You said the concept of KHOORS has been subject of discussion even at the time of SAHABAS. So from even your own explanation it is obvious that its not that something originated by Non-Arabs by mere misunderstanding of a word. 2ndly you have yourself given examples of difference of opinions one by Sahabi(Abu Huraira) and other by Taabi(Hassan Basri). You could have different point of view about something and you can quote examples to prove, but problem arises when you say only this point of view is correct, all others are false. In your own quoted explanation, you dont agree with Abu Huraira as it does not support your logic. This is the origin of "FIRQAWARIAT". and this is how UMAH is at present day.
