May Allah bless Ghamid saheb best health so he continues teaching and guiding us. Ameen. He is the only and only scholar in the world who truly has complete knowledge of the Quran and Islam. He has described on his various lectures about scholars who had completely reviewed, described and interpreted the religion of Islam, which include; Imam Ibn-e-Taimiyah, Imam Ghazali, Shah Waliullah and Maulana Abu Al'aa Maudoodi and Ghamidi saheb is also in this list now.

While defining interest, ulma do not consider depreciation of the money, specially in Pakistan, every year approximately 15% depreciation occurs. The banks do not give more than this percentage. Therefore the interest here in Pakistan requires a special Fatwah./definition.

Agar koi mulla hota to kahta sood haram hai to bas haram hai Aslme use maloom hi nahi ke sood kyon haram hai Hawai jahaz mein ghoomte phirte hain luxury motor car mein chalte hain aur uska kraya bhi dete hain isko sood kyon nahi kahte Kyon nahin ye oont par baith kar chalte hain???

Aaj ke daur mein banda kaisey andaza lagaye ki jo uske paas hai woh zaroorat se zyada hai? 1440 saal pehle aaney waley kal ki college fees, university fees, retirement ke akhrajaat, medical akhrajaat waghairah jaisi pareshaniyan to na thi. Sirf do waqt ki roti aur rehne ki 46:06 thikane ki fikr hoti thi. Bachchon ki parawrish ki fikr bhi shamil thi magar aaj ki tareh nahin.

A piece of paper money has value only when it is linked to a certain amount and value of gold ,so why not consider that the lender is giving gold to rent or giving to use it to buy commodities to do business and then deserve to get back some money or equivalent amount of gold as a rent

I am still perplexed about Riba. Is it, as according to the Quran, and if I understood correctly, that is when one borrows the money and the creditor asks for double the re-payment and/or he multiplies that 3x, 4x and so on, like a loan shark? Thanks for any insight

When I think of Sood, I think of bank interest purely. I suppose that would have been the norm in those days but then there were money lenders as well who took interest.

میرا ایک ذاتی تجربہ ہے کہ میں نے اپنے ایک دوست کو 2013 میں 700 ڈالرز قرض دیا 2024 میں اس کی کال آئی کہ جو میں نے تم سے 78 ہزار روپے قرض لیئے تھے وہ اب میں لوٹانا چاہتا ہوں ۔میں کہا میں نے تم کو قرض نہیں دیا تھا صرف مدد کی تھی ۔ واپسی کی فکر مت کرو، 2013 میں ڈالر 101 کا تھا اور اب تقریبا 279 کا ہے ۔ یعنی اب مجھے وہ واپس کرتا تو تقریبا 275 واپس کرتا ۔ چنانچہ میں نے رقم لینے سے اجتناب کیا ۔ اور دعا دے کر اللہ حافظ کہا دیا۔ اس معاملے کو کیسا دیکھنا چاہیئے ؟ جبکہ میں رقم پر منفت کی بھی خواہش نہیں کرتا ۔ اخلاقیات اپنی جگہ مگر اصول کیا کہتا ہے ۔ ؟
