I have always been telling people from the diaspora to start investing in Kumasi before others begin to take advantage. Here are the reasons: 1. Kumasi is likely to be the largest city in Ghana and Ashanti is likely to be the largest Region(Province or State) in Ghana in a few years time both in terms of area and population. 2. Kumasi is the most affordable city in Ghana. The cost of living is the lowest in the country. Things in Kumasi are the cheapest in the country especially food and accommodation. 3. It's location makes it so easy to do business in any part of the Region and the country. It also has one large central business area where almost all your transactions can take place. 4. Land is easily acquired and cheaper than in all other cities in Ghana. It is also the cheapest city in terms of labour costs.

Oooh! I'm an African American and I visited Accra twice, but I've always thought that Kumasi (or maybe further north in Tema) might actually be a better place to start a life. I love your information! I have been thinking about Kumasi for years now! What you've said is very inspiring. Honestly too, I must say that I visited Accra in 1998 and I much prefer Accra in 1998 than Accra in 2012. I had a great time, but the city didn't have quite the same level of hospitality that it had back in 1998. The people in Accra seemed a lot more "modernized" now, and I would like to see authentic Ghanaian (especially Ashanti) culture more. I am absolutely fascinated with the Yoruba, Ashanti, and Mende cultures (my three favorite cultures in Africa,) and would like to see much more, especially traditional Ashanti architecture - my favorite architecture in the world.

Manufacturing, manufacturing, manufacturing. People who are constructing roads, buildings and bridges need finished products: rebars, screws, nails, hinges, locks, doors, window pane glass, amongst others. Small engines are needed too. When will Africans start manufacturing their own cars and airplanes from scratch? Not forgetting sewer pipes, sewer processing plants, and water pipes. Africa needs trained professionals: nurses, dentists, doctors, electricians.

@gyamfia119
@gyamfia119 6 жыл бұрын
@ClydeWebb RoastedMe so do we do with all that food throw out yearly but go and import same tomato paste and likes from fake china? there is too much food wasted yearly in Ghana. Seasonally, food is in abundance like plantain and yams, farmers lose so much on those product and u can save them like rice. plantains ripen in 10 days then useless, yams are just there for 5 months then its gone and whatever u find in the market can only be bought by the rich. We have so many uses for the dehydrated stuff. in fact cassava has been dehydrated in Ghana for so long its a main dish. besides this will create employment as well. majority of Ghanaian are skinny because they walk a lot and the sun is not really forgiven lol

This is one of the very few times you've shown a home in a developed area and hope it will continue. Also, continue to be courteous and respectful to the locals. The AA in Nigeria was very disrespectful to the driver. He called him a " mugu", which means fool, or idiot. Just as much as Africans are embracing, they will quickly reject you if you give an air of looking down, or talking down to them.

I don’t know about needing scientist. You need the manufacturing equipment, this is common knowledge online Sirs. Importing manufacturing technology and equipment will be the most important thing Entrepreneurs can do. This is just common sense, you don’t need to go out and get a degree to figure this stuff out but that right there is the problem, people are convinced that the knowledge to do this is in college when the history of such industries are in books with open sources being in the internet. I’m glad this man is intelligent enough to explain the industries that’s much needed.Percy Lavon Julian Black Chemist wrote many books and successfully extracted much needed chemicals from a plants.

This guy is telling it like it is....Ghana and the rest of "Africa" is looking for a particular skill set to develop their natural resources. Got It! They don't have a need for all of the Diaspora running over there from racism buying up beach front properties and starting restaurants (everyone doing the same thing). They acknowledge what has happen in the past, But To Them It Belong In The Past. These people are not as naive as some may think.

Are there many Black Americans who even have the skills they need like refining oil and large skill food and snack manufacturing? Black American pan-Africanists always talk of us using our skills and improving African nations, but I don't think we have that many people skilled in these areas,, especially when it comes to mass production. I think many of us overestimate our skill level. I'd happily be proven wrong.

They need to build cho-cho pick up stops. The cho-chos should not be allowed to stop in the middle of traffic and pick people up. So there should be specific pick up and drop off stops for cho-chos. People need to be re-educated in how to catch the cho-chos and where to get the cho-chos. It will take some thought and engineering to the roads to build these but it would be worht it.

Dynast most immigrants have a plan when they migrate to build a home or expanding on what they left and take care of family members back home, often starting a business to support them if they can't migrate often don't. Planning for retirement and education of the next generation. Africans and Caribbean people think like that, yes some get side tracked but the main intentions is the goals.📚🌱

It’s hard to discuss everything on KZbin. Quite simply first idea is within commercial agriculture, second is building a unique tourist infrastructure that people will literally come from all over Nigeria and Africa to see and bring in money in droves. Leave your email and I will contact you. Remember no money asked or required - just dialogue then if we share common grounds we go into detail and do a business plan. Don’t assume you know all because it’s quite unique.

Everything that he is talking about is available, but they just don't want to pay. Listen to the American guy saying to ticket them without even knowing the system.
