i truly love that you gave information about the actual species...like...it changes the whole video into something more than just hey look at this cool thing i built and instead made it into something full of passion and honest to god interest. thank you for that. I live near the Columbus Zoo which is one of the USA's top research based zoos and i always love when people take the time to learn about the other things on the earth there, the zoo is PACKED with info and im sorry im rambling but this was seriously amazing. you told us great fun little things but then were very honest about the fact that these animals are in trouble. also, your builds are amazing! thanks for helping scratch that Zoo game itch lol

Have you seen the tunnel system that some zoos use to allow animals into other enclosures? They frequently go over guest paths and give enrichment to animals using them. I've seen them made for monkeys, big cats, otters, and lots of other species. I haven't seen anyone try it yet and am very curious to know how it would work in game.

So I've done some initial testing and it looks like it can work :) I'm going to save it as our first 'Zoo School' episode is Bengal Tigers and one would be perfect for them :)

I really hope they let us adjust the welfare needs in sandbox. Those coverage and terrain restrictions seem painful for creative freedom. The sprinklers/coolers and feeding stations seem to stick out massively too.

I stick a rock or bush over it and it hides the little silver circle, it would be fine but the intense fog makes it look like all my bushes in the bear exhibit are on fire or something.

This habitat looks STUNNING! Very clever solution with the food tray too! Also I'm baffled to see your keeper actually put the food IN the food tray! My keepers ignore the existence of bowls entirely and just dump it in the grass. 😅 I thought that was a glitch for everybody.

Twinkly Tanya Plays i was getting that glitch and it was really irritating me and ruining the game, had several animals die because the keepers would ignore the food bowls. but mine wouldn’t even put it on the grass, so they died of starvation. finally figured out if i move the food bowl around a couple times the glitch stops. idk wtf was causing it but i almost stopped playing cuz of it

I like it temple bits in the waters cool but I would recommend maybe a light in the shelter as like a basking light for when it’s cloudy or at night time or maybe just a glass panel on top other than that I’m a big fan of the habitat

I live in the middle of nowhere and yet rent is over $1000. Car insurance is ridiculously expensive. My husband and I have decided not to stay because of it. So, you are not alone in those feelings. Loved the video! This is exactly the kind of exhibit I'm psyched for, the ruined temple style exhibit where you get a little architecture in, but Ive been avoiding doing stuff like that because I was worried we don't have enough pieces in the Beta. Clearly we do! Looks great. I really liked the animal information in this one, and am super glad your channel is doing well for you! You took planet coaster from a game I've played a few hours but was pretty lost in to a game I've sunk days into, building huge and detailed parks. Your videos are what showed me I COULD build badass custom detailed buildings, so thank you, too!

Geekism, have you noticed the Giant Panda and Camel stencils for decoration? We know camels have more or less been confirmed, and every other animal that has a stencil has been confirmed, so it’s looking like we’re gonna get Giant Pandas at release! Another amazing video :)

Sexual dimorphism/dimorphic is the word for the being able to distinguish male and females based on external appearance :). Also thank you for talking about the animal in the real world and the problems they face. As somebody who works at a zoo/aquarium that is super important to me, and most youtubers I've been watching don't talk about that

A Brit finds car insurance really expensive in Canada. Wow, and here I was thinking British car insurance was ridiculously expensive when we moved there. In the UK it was about 4x what I was paying in the Netherlands prior to moving. I can't imagine what it costs in Canada then.

I love you're videos. Just want to let you know some of the information you gave on the gharial was false just just check out the zoopedia on the animal. Group size were large but because there are so few in the wild now they are forced to live in smaller groups.

Gharials are endangered because of humans overfishing and they get caught in fishing nets. They have some at my favorite zoo and their size depends on the exact species.

if the enclosurers are anything like jurassic world ecolution increasing the size of the enclosure should impact the percentage of foliage you can use, the bigger the enclosure the more foliage you can use... can'T say for sure since i missed the beta but worth trying if you get the chance
