@Kaushiki Chakraborty you are so gifted and talented. In my opinion you are the best female singer ever. I have not heard another singer with such grace and embelishments in this song. I follow your classical singing also..but ghazal renditions is my choice of music to listen to. Dear Kaushaki. Please produce more ghazals and light music compositions such as this. I wish I could have heard you and Jagjit Singh together in concert. That would have been a match made in heaven.

I have a small submission to make. In the description, it is so important to mention the shaayar which is Nasir Kazmi in this case. We have to bear in mind that the ghazal belongs to him irrespective of whomsoever has sung or composed it. This rendition is simply beautiful.

But i thought that a sarangi cld hv enhanced this to a new stratosphere altogether. My humble request for an encore of this one in future with sarangi. Kiya baat hei. Mujh ko nahi pata tha ke koi itna dard bhi is gazal mei daal sakta hei. Aap ne to Kamal hi kar diya. Kiya sur or gayaki hei. Mere paas to kuch bhi kehene ke liye nahi hei. Sab musicians ne is gazal mei char Chand laga diye hei. Koi bhi kisi ko over power nahi kar raha hei. A perfectly sang and played this rendition. God bless you all

Kaushiki was about 5 years old when she came to our home in 55 Lakeplace with her parents Pandit Ajay Chakraborty and mother Chandana. Ajay was and still is a great singer and we were charmed. Poor little Kaushiki (her nickname is Putul (a doll) ) would fall asleep. Kaushiki, a pretty little girl then and a beautiful young woman now, is in my humble opinion an incomparable singer, not only Ghazal but Khayal and Thumri My blessings to her. Paharijethu.
