I've just seen it @Filmfest Gent. Excellent documentary: exhilarating, interesting, critical, nice flow, it doesn't fall flat a minute. Definitely a must-see if you're a fan of Laurent Garnier, a must-see if you're interested in the history of house, techno, supression of a musical culture and style and even if you're not a fan of electronic music in general... well, you can learn something. I voted 5 (maximum score) on my scoring card for the price of the public.

Well pretentious. The "Superstar DJ...here we go" status goes unchecked. Irony, and a healthy disdain for the commercial, has been replaced by waving your phones in the air like you just don't care. Cash cow on steroids, milked for all it's worth..

Just watching this documentary, and as a documentary it is a fantastic work but this "music" as they call it was and is a travesty. So called music that had hype without any bounce. Repetitive, minimalistic etc. Only maybe a few songs I can say are really good. Millions of drugged up children following a few hundred even more drugged up "DJs" that played music made by Atari ST and Amiga computers with a few of sequencers. Disguisting. If you like electronic music go and listen to real bands that play electronic music live, like Skinny Puppy,DAF,Portion Control or even Depeche Mode.

never understood why electronic techno music is creating this fake euphoria! The DJ probably can not even play any instruments and just mixes noise together with advanced equipment that makes it sound much more than it is . . . Back to the 80ies and 90ies when the real music was created with skills of real tones of harmony and talents with real instruments!

Try mixing yourself and you’ll realize that it takes a lot more than just pushing some buttons. Real djing is an art and the technical equipment is the instrument they’re playing!

@Antonio Castaneda yeah with all due respect for all the skills they can claim IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME ALL THIS BUMPETIE BUMP BUMP DING DONG DASH BANG BANG BANG! Those who like this kind of noise has NO CONCEPT OF harmonies, tones and VARIATION in speed and rhythm. All ya jumping to psychedelic stroboscopes and this crap are brainwashed since birth in a culture in decline and will NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT REAL MUSIC IS!
