Born and raised in Singapore but did not have Singapore citizenship or PR due to family and bureaucratic complications, thus I did not and cannot serve NS. My personal advice to younger folks with similar background, serving NS and attaining citizenship is a privilege. If you want to live abroad to see what the world has to offer, enroll to an European university after NS. Affordable and reasonable quality.
