ayy, ive been playing these two together on live for a bit now (mostly because I didn't have a full playset of either so I just slapped 2 and 2 together) - its real fun to see them fuel eachother so well

All hail the Gholdengo ex/Ceruledge ex brothers. They are Arceus Chosen truly.

I was thinking this deck could work! The idea of Ghol leading up front the close out with Cer is kind of sick.
@FanthonEntity2 күн бұрын
I feel this is the way to go with goldengho. You win the mirror because of weakness and your late game becomes amazing. I do run briar on my version

I have imagined about this deck since energy search pro and ceruledge was introduced, now im happy that one of my fav ptcgl youtuber does make a deck about them

The thing that draws 3 Stage 1 pokémon also seems like a good substitute for Legacy Energy.

Crispin with a single psychic energy to have ceruledge be a threat earlier in the game.

I’ve been workshopping a deck using Gholdengo and Ceruledge! Cool to see that other people had similar ideas
@FerretTwister2 күн бұрын
Heck ya! I have one but instead of the iron bundles I use Hisuian sneasler that gives you minus 2 for the retreat cost. So free retreat for both your big ex's
@strikerheadshot72152 күн бұрын
Ngl Ninja is just straight better. Sometimes you want those energies in the discard using retreat and also with cipher being in the deck, ninja is just too nice. It's a nice idea but honestly it's low-key just a waste of a radiant slot

Would've been awesome to meet you! It was my very first regional and I placed #505.

Can this deck go with energy search pro or brilliant blender, or is legacy optimal. Energy search pro can get a load of energies for gholdengo to prepare for a gholdengo attack and then a ceruledge attack. Blender can let you superior energy retrieval for getting them back to gholdengo, or discard and attack with ceruledge. The energy search pro deck list could run 5 metal 5 fire and of every other type and replacing legacy with energy search pro
@jeremiahsalcedo81022 күн бұрын
E search pro is good to discard energy fast with make it rain and atk with ceruledge. But you can use SER to power up your gholdengo incase ceruledge dmg cant reach your oppo

Great duo. The deck could work, hope to see more play in tournaments.

You should totally try the japan list with miraidon ex raichu v and Ceruledge. So miraidon gets out all the raichus and hands then after you unload all that energy attack with Ceruledge. That or please do simisear Vstar before it rotates

LDF I think I saw you in passing between the later rounds at Toronto but there wasn’t a ton of time and you were surrounded by people so I couldn’t say hi. It was my first majors and I gained so much respect for the players that stuck it out. It was GRUELING! Sucks about the matchup rng but thanks for keeping the content coming 🙂

How doesn’t legacy work in gholdengo?
@kingt19542 күн бұрын
Probably because your opponent will need to do 4 kos to win anyway
@ethandowler46692 күн бұрын
he means that you can't use it as part of the discard for the damage. As in, gholdengo's attack says you may discard any number of BASIC energy, but Ceruledge says it deals 20 extra damage for each energy (including special energy)

Saw you in Toronto but you were busy at the time so didn't want to bother you, but I had Giratina lost box with me with Wo-Chien in it after seeing your video on the combo. Not needing greninja to be able to snipe let me take the water energy out and fit an iron hands with 2 lightning energy instead. Has a horrible matchup into regidrago still, but it's a fun deck that I feel has potential.

Is it jus me or does anyone else have a burning hatred for Goldego? It takes too long to play and they either do way too much damage or half your health and their turn took 4 minutes lol This seems like it would speed it up a lot, I would rather go against this. Does seem it will run faster. I am a dirty RegiDrago user. And my list is turbo af, I normally win in a few turns. I remove all "safe" cards and stack to burn my deck fast af. I call if Glass Dragons. I either win fast or scoop because I wont be able to win. I also know the deck by heart so my turns are normally under a minute.
@luv-lost2 күн бұрын
I use Lost Hydreigon and a TurboDialga also. But after over 20 years of playing slow decks get to me. My favorite era was the T-mail, VS-Seeker, Shaymin Era (yes, people did not like me. But I was top 5 2006 San Francisco). I don't want to go back to those days of matches being an hour.
