Sweet Les Paul - congratulations! Never part with it, play it for decades. Years ago, I bought a R7 goldtop/57 reissue. When you keep expensive instruments, play them daily, they’re a fantastic value. Rock on.

You didn't share a link play 10 years ago I got a man it's hard to say Les Paul Studios 50 tribute it is a fat neck like that one..... you open it up I was afraid it wasn't a Gibson.... you look inside and the guy actually cut the wires on the pickups which Plug and Play and there was tape and sticky stuff all over what has a PCB board instead of hardwire you didn't tell me that Jehovah that's what I said but I'm not sending it back for $750 I still have.... I just sent the Jehovah Christmas card for about 5 years hey maybe I should send him another one they hate Christmas😅😅😅😅

If you buy a Gibson for your kid and they don't want to play and keep it in good shape then you get money for it if you buy them a junk guitar you'll get nothing I say buy your kid at Gibson if you can afford it and if they don't want it put it away

The reason you don’t have the vanilla smell is because it’s the faded version. If you had bought a gloss nitro finish you’d smell that.
@GholdwayneАй бұрын
Daaaam! That hurts 😅 How would vanilla scent oils do, brother? 🤣 Although my 2015 PRS CU22 has that nice smell, and i don't think it's nitro, i think it might be the glue used in the case like how people who do factory tours and walk by the drying open cases, they smell all that 🤔

It sounds like it needs to be set up. You know the neck relief Bridge adjustment run easy to do just sounds like it needs set up and I would never ever buy a Epiphone their junk. Leave the pick up covers off of it. It doesn’t sound any better if you put them on.😊 that’s what I would do
@GholdwayneАй бұрын
I am going to have it setup for the nut to properly accomodate the thicker gauge wound strings(10-52 from factory's 10-46) as I have a sense they are binding a bit. Same with the saddles since that's a point of frequent string breakage if not filed well i found. Unless I just use a roller saddle bridge :D I'm still going to cover the pickups, I like the look of the covers, and I like the thought that it could be acting as a faraday cage type of thing . But what I really like is balancing the string to string output with the adjustment poles... Looks less goofy with a cover ;) Thank you for stopping by, brother!
@Moby604Ай бұрын
Replace the string with #9 to relieve the neck tension,your funny brother🤣 and those are top hat knobs not speed knobs😂
@GholdwayneАй бұрын
If only there was a set of 9.5-52 or something, brother😅
@DeliquescentinsightАй бұрын
@@Gholdwayne I always use the 10-52, a guitar of that pedigree will take even 12's without any problems, have a luthier adjust the neck if you feel anxious.
