Very good Detective work. Sorry about all the crew and follow on personnel that will be affected. The large yachts will hurt more, because they require more specialized facilities / personnel. On the other hand it is very revealing that a high percentage of the 295+ Yachts are Russian owned - seems to reinforce the idea that the funding of these vessels is not from clean money. Lurssen will just have to make money building less than 295" foot SY.

I cant be the only one that teared up from the intro music. I love opera...*sniff* *sniff*. I'm not crying! Thats from the coke! On a more serious note, are these crew members able to easily find new jobs? Whats the supply and demand like for yachties??

I don't think a little bit of discomfort for the super yacht industry or a few crew losing their jobs are cause for concern or even afforded any consideration .Innocent people who didn't have a great deal to begin with are being killed and left destitute by the arrogant ruthless gangsters that own these crass symbols of wealth. Perhaps the sanctioned vessels could be sold to help those unfortunate Ukrainians.

Thanks, you did make me reflect on this some more. I guess I feel a little sorry for the crew. Sometimes it is hard to find out the type of person/company you want to work for. Especially in this age of media where you never know who is telling the truth or what the truth is. Although it's kinda easy to see what's happening in Ukraine. Curious if they would have quit or if they would work for the same person again? I would hope that if it was myself, I would have quit or never worked for them again.
