Ghost of Tsushima as a whole is pretty slept on, it’s definitely put up there in the top tier of gaming but it still needs more recognition cuz it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played

GoT is, in my opinion, the sandbox with the best swordplay ever, a historical settibg never touched before (mongol invasions), and has one of the best main characters ever. Seriously, this is highly regarded by real samurai in Japan

He didn't abandon his honner. It was the Samuri on the main island that abandoned him and the people who lived on that island. As a matter of fact the Samuri didn't uphold their own code.. Jin had no choice, as the last samuri on the island but to fight an unconventional enemy of war, using unconventional means, or else he would have died like all his other Samuri family died, that were stationed on the island.... Jin Sakie is a balls to the wall hero...

​@@dp5-1Samurai are meant to face their own enemies up front, no bs, no dirty tricks. Jin had to break his uncle's code in order to save Tsushima because Khan has studied them long enough and the samurai's tactics are predictable. What Khan didn't count on was Jin breaking his code, using many stealth tactics, use poison and study each and everyone of his foes to perfect his technique. I'm pretty sure the samurai upheld they're code by facing their enemies face to face since that's they're belief in honor. He had to sacrifice everything that he had at his disposal to defeat the enemy.

The whole of the Samurai *and their precious honor, would have been a sad footnote in the annals of history like ALL the one's that perished on that island... If it were not for JIN? Khan would have run amuck on ALL of the Samurai. The island *and the mainland... He was NOT about to stop with Tsushima... No, not even close, why?, because taking Tsushima was too easy..... As far as their code?.... ..... Hate to say it, but? they all should have put their necks in a noose and just pulled the lever themselves. Their honer was outdated. You know, If Khan would have struck the main island first? With his newly branded, unconventional tactics in full effect, implemented? The honorable old code the Samurai lived by would have went POOF!!! Yea, they would have died honorably, with their heads held high, six feet under. ALL OF THEM.... Aaand how does this moral act of upholding an outmoded code save their people?, heritage, cities, and many generations of human tradition?.... It does not... Wars are won by the tactically swift ect., that's ever changing.. IT was the same tactics KHAN was using against them.. Heck you can "ALMOST ", call Khan?, "dang near", but *at a great distance, a maniacal genius... 😯. 👍 He **almost pulled it off.... With this game I also believe that the Shogun owes Jin their very lives, with a great amount of gratitude and respect.... This game for sure, is number one for me... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Jin is a Samurai who broke his codex, so he isnt a samurai, and he is not a ninja since he never got any ninja train or armor and weapons, He is also not accurate since samurais mostly used bow and if they didnt have other choice they used the katana while jin used his katana way more

@@Cain_The_Hoarderjin broke the code. Samurai breaking their codes are put in exile and become ronin, Jin is a ronin. When Jin escaped castle shimura he was exiled in kamiagata. Lord shimura said he is no longer samurai cuz he broke the code, then he was exiled and became a ronin. He isnt shinobi as shinobi wasnt taught or trained before the 15th century
