I think it’s amazing that they didn‘t continue Jin‘s story. Because of that there will be no plotholes or bad reasoning as to why old gameplay mechanics were removed for new ones and so one. We get to experience a whole new game in the style of ghost of Tsushima, that leaves it‘s legacy be. Also that way, we might get a cool mythic tale about the ghost of tsushima, the nemesis of the mongols.

if they're keeping it realistic you won't be able to multishot sequence. those took a long time to reload, around a minute for an experienced shooter. i've fired the portuguese ones from the same period and even though the one i shot was modern made and designed for easier use and used pre-made cartridges (similar to shotgun cartridges), it still took around 20 to 30 seconds to reload. also it was common for these to fail the shot and having to be reloaded again, would be funny to see this happen when firing

Im excited. Same way the 1st game was heavily inspired by old films specifically from Akira Kurosawa Ive been thinking on which ones this one inspired. From just going off the yellow and black has to be kill bill for sure for one. With that being noted obviously that ties in what inspired Kill Bill that being Lady Snowblood both the 1st and 2nd film, so I will say Toshiya Fujita films. We may be in for a great revenge and entertaining revenge plot with just as good gameplay of the 1st game and artist visual scenery if the 1st one. I feel Jins story ended amazing and rather have Ghost Of as an IP can lead to some great emotional stories like films do. Erika Ishii being the protag isnt bad news for me she has a great range most notably known for as Valkyrie from Apex, but for me as my ai LUMU in Halo Infinite which is drastically different in cadence and tonality back when I used to play it. Only time will tell tho we havent heard her performance yet, but also if uts going to be just like the 1st one im going to play japanese dub 1st then english sub if i do another playthrough. Off topic speaking of the more artistsic symbolic aspects of the game Mount Yotei is also refferred to as female mountain so the protagonist is just like Jin has some connection with the title just like Jin's name was tied to the storm in Ghost of Tsushima. Im really excited just analyzing this one is going to just as fun as the 1st one where it really opened your eyes on damn so this is what hand crafted well intentioned and cared for world looks like in a game. Im really curious on what they will do with the open world since it doesnt seen to be too much in the dire state of the 1st game of an invasion. Will it be more "lived in" so to say since it looks like we will have locations like what ima say are bars/taverns back then and things like that. Only time will tell im perfectctly happy with just a continuation of the 1st game mechanics just new setting and story personally.

I have nothing against a female character, in fact, the most famous female samurai, Tomoe Gozen, was also credited as the first notable woman samurai. As previously alluded to, she was well renowned for her martial prowess and strategic acumen. Gozen's battle prowess was said to be so extraordinary that she could unhorse a foe with a single strike. But why they just erased Jin, they should have told something more about him, I hope they give some reference about him in this upcoming game, so they can connect his story with this new samurai.

I know it's easy to disregard that as an incel thing but ppl who play games try to relate to the characters they control. And while a captivating story can often be enough, there's still going to be scenarios where you can't relate to the characters. Fukin bummed they went with a female hero for this, I dont mind in some game but not ghost of fukin tsushima ffs. At least they should have given us the choice between guy or girl at the beginning. Really really disapointed, been waiting on the trailer for this for ever. It does look good and im sure it ll be a good game but what a fukin bummer.

Why can't we just have one really good thing and leave things stay awesome , greed that's why. The Fast-forward in time will give more tools to use but I think that's it, the whole idea of of the OG was that turning into the ghost was such a hard ting for Jin to do because of his samurai up bringing and that it was a nesscecry evil for the people of his land, he sacrifice everything for his people
