I think Spawn would have made more sense. The only things Lobo has in common with Ghost Rider is his chain weapon and riding a motor cycle. Spawn just like Johnny Blaze was tricked by the devil and turned into a hell spawn. He even turns on the Devil when he realizes he was tricked.

richard conaway zarathos is the version they will use because SA always uses composites. Current lobo is nerfed hard, prime lobo is way above what is currently in the comics. Zarathos is very strong but still not superman tier, he’s more of a sorcerer than anything and I don’t think they’ll dwell into the hax abilities of each, as lobo can’t die and zarathos is from hell, it’ll bottle down to who actually has the bigger feats and lobo clears in that department.

There's nothing to decide. If the demon Zarathos takes over Ghost Rider at any point during that fight, it's all over for Lobo, point, blank period.

@Christian Rho The only problem is that GR used it on people like The Deacon, Punisher and Thanos and the only good that did him was opening himself up to attack because none of the 3 have any regrets of the pain they inflicted. Not only does Lobo have no regrets but his own soul acts just like him, strength, healing factor, and all. It'll just possess the nearest living thing until lobo body reform. I am getting a Chuck Norris VS Segata Sanshiro vibe here

I think they already confirmed in a DB: Cast that Jean/Phoenix's opponent when she enters into Death Battle will be Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya mostly because Ikki is the only selected opponent for Jean who can actually fight her at her best on an even playing field aka not get curb-stomped in seconds or minutes along with them both sharing the whole phoenix motif.
