I love humor like this, where you are laughing at a character for being an asshole then at the end its flipped on your head and you feel like the asshole for laughing in the first place at the person's flaws. The last season of Moral Orel is like this. They spent 2 seasons building up their characters for you to laugh at, then in the final season show you how what you have been laughing and making fun of this whole time was these characters very real pain and personal tragedy. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
