I realized while watching that Temsik is the word "kismet" backwards. Kismet is a synonym for destiny or fate, so the asteroid is literally named after the reversal of fate. A nice touch.

I love coming back to this Ghost Trick every now and then once I rediscover it and finding out the mystery all over again. The story is so engaging, the characters are well written and pretty charismatic and the music absolutely bangs. This game is so underrated.

Personally, this game appealed to me more than any Ace Attorney title. The writing is consistently humorous without being too corny, the interaction between storytelling and puzzle is brilliant, the graphics have much more character than "dude fades in, mouth flaps" presentation of typical visual novel games... This game nails them all. Wish there's a port to modern platforms. Also, the dancing guard is the best character in this game.

The animations and character design of this game are absolutely stellar. There's so many little nuances to it that I wouldn't have expected, like the guy trying to grab for grapes and missing the first time. That kind of stuff isn't normally put into animations outside of motion capture. Oh, and the story. I've never been so invested in a story before this, in any form. This might be the single best story of a game I have seen.

coming back here after playing the remake, they did a phenomenal job of remastering the visuals, it made me think of how it was possible on the DS all those years ago. Edit: Also noticed a few minor differences between character models, Jowd is a little bit shorter in the remake.

This is still one of my favorite games. For anyone who wants something similar, I'd highly recommend the Zero Escape series. It's people trapped in a seemingly-hopeless situation (like Danganronpa and Ghost Trick) + twists + sci-fi. I don't think I can say anything more without delving into spoilers.

This game is amazing, a lot of VNs are horribly paced with bad characters and plot, but Ghost Trick excels in every aspect, specially the presentation and pacing. For example: 2:51:49 I absolutely love this revelation, cutting the music off to let the player absorb the new twist was a smart choice, but what truly elevates this scene is how after all the characters are done talking, the game focuses your attention on it again with the spotlight and after a little bit, the music plays, and it's a perfect choice for the situation, makes me feel like Sissel brain's is on overdrive trying to make sense out of it, a really well presented and paced scene!

one of the very few games that I particularly liked, everything from the very beautiful music to the animation and above all the story that you honestly don't find like that in other games. Honestly when he found out, at first I thought it was a game like this done in an hour, but then I had to think again, and if I hadn't found it in the store today I wouldn't be here talking about this little masterpiece. The only thing I regret is the fact that it is little known and underestimated.

I never finished this game, I played the game a few time but only got to certain point and either forgot bout it or lost the card. Now I watched the whole story the ending surprised me, I'm a cat lol. I always thought the ghost mechanics were interesting, now I think these mechanics have bigger potential. Hopefully there will be a squeal, even if it's a different story.

Man I remember seeing/playing this game in the App Store a few years back when it was still fresh and you had to buy the other chapters which I couldn’t at the time. Then I watched a play through of the game and still to this day vaguely remembering that there was a submarine segment at the end. Then I got reminded again from an artist and now we’re back here just finishing this entire video, thanks again for the nostalgia and wish I could’ve bought the og game from the ds…now it’s way too pricey these days
