I must admit I was an old fashioned holdout who was one of those who said you can't mix the two. You are either country or rap. Then my husband sat me down and showed me this video and 'Can I get an Outlaw' and told me to "just listen to what he's saying" ( quote ). My first attention was caught by the outfit you wear here. I saw my uncle who literally lives as a modern mountain man ( right down to the black powder rifle ). Then the country store and saw about half my cousins and in-laws. Then I realized you aren't misusing urban phrases like some of these trying to come out within this genre, you aren't claiming something you didn't live. No, I heard an entire life that I remember brought me to solid work ethic and morals that we are seriously missing with this generation. So yea I have to tip the baseball cap.
