The keyboard part on verse should be as D-C-Eb-D(on in chords Dm-C-Eb-Dm); Cirrus play it that way on ghost live concerts. No one have done the last organ part of outro, on covers tho, i really love that one!

I guess that proves I’m not one of the real ghoulettes in Ghost hahaha! That makes sense, I based it off what I heard in the studio recording and the Infes era live shows so it explains why I do it different. I’ll go listen to more recent videos now!

I’m rewatching your videos again (cause they are amazing) and I was wondering how you do the keyboard slides? Every time I try to do it, it doesn’t sound right/gets stuck (doesn’t slide) or is just painful. Now I think I am doing them completely wrong but idk the right way to do it AND THEY SOUND SO COOL AND CANT BR LEFT OUT. Do u have any way to try and explain how to do it?? Anyways I love your content, I have found you on Insta aswell 😁

Are you doing it on a real piano or a MIDI/electronic keyboard? The keys on this one are a lot lighter and so it’s not painful at all, but I’m also not doing it “right” (there are multiple ways, but the way I do it doesn’t seem to be common enough from what I’ve seen). I use the top parts of my fingers because it hurts less and also I like to wear rings and the rings might damage the keys haha

@@emerituskeys atm I am playing on a cheap electric keyboard and I find that I’m only clicking 1 key at a time (like it could be I’m pressing too hard for it not to be able to slide) but it’s sounding more like a run/major scale than a slide lol

Hmm it’s kinda hard to tell what the issue is without being able to see. But if you’re playing on a keyboard that doesn’t have the same heavy touch of a real piano, you shouldn’t need to dig your palm or fingers that deep to play the slide. Try a little more light touch and see if that helps? It should feel like a swipe rather than a scratch, if that makes sense haha
