Before I watch this I’m sayin hell nah. The severed head scene. The ghost train. The titanic. More ghost effects. It wasn’t the best but it was still great. Nothing is gunna top the stay puft but the Statue of Liberty was still dope.

I love it. Almost a companion piece. Obviously it's nowhere near as good as the OG but given how dreadful most sequels are, this is a bit of a gem. I'm glad it was made purely for Dr Venkman's World Of The Psychic alone.

I remember vaguely seeing Ghostbusters 2 at the movies in 1989. I was 11 years old. I remember being freaked out by: Vigo, the Dr. Janosz Poha with the pram scene, the bathtub stuff, etc. I remember I had a fun time, but I didn't like it as much as the first movie.

Growing up (born in 1984) I watched both of them religiously. The original is my favorite movie of all time, I'm a mega fan with all the merch and all that, but I DO enjoy the sequel. I hit a point in my adult life where I didn't like part 2 for years, but I think with how awful the 2016 movie was, it made me go back and appreciate it once again.

I loved that movie when it came out. I remember right around y2k trying to talk to people about that awesome movie and almost no one knew what I was talking about. Finally I found it on DVD when they were somewhat still new and forced so many people to watch it. I’m so happy the internet helped people recognize that movie.

I'm a lawyer. A tax lawyer is licensed to do everything a CPA (accountant) can. So, there is nothing at all stopping a lawyer from opening a law firm that is effectively an accounting practice. While it was of course a dumb retconn, as far as such things go, it wasn't that bad. Lewis could have gone to law school, took tax classes as his electives, and opened up a practice doing exactly what his practice was shown as being in the first movie. Ok, why I spent the time writing this comment, I don't know.. I had the fun experience of not having seen the first Ghostbusters since I was 8, and then seeing it again when I was 30. I was like, this was considered kid friendly? Between basically every single thing Venkman says to Dana and Ray's ghost bj wet dream... 🤣🤣🤣
