it will not skyrocket in price, with 12000 of them out there you'd be lucky to break $500 on ebay which after fees is within $20 of what you would have paid to back it after taxes and shipping.

Not ridiculous at all, considering how iconic the Ecto-1 is, and how demanded a 6 inch scale version of it is. Backers aren't just paying for the car either, as the deluxe version comes with 7 figures and an upgrade kit to turn it into the Ecto-1A.

I need this 1A… period. But Hasbro is playing 1) themselves and 2) playing in our face. How many licensed Ecto 1s do we need. Should’ve been just the 1A with the charcoals, Tully and the Scoleri Bros. 12,000 eazy. If the next is a a pair of Goggles, I’ll back that then bow out gracefully. The greed is real at this point.

It is. Precisely why I've backed it. "Ho Ho Ho!" lol Besides they dropped the pack back in October 2021 and people threw cash at it and had to wait two years for production! I don't remember people complaining then.

If the enthusiasm for 6-inch scale runs dry, toy makers are in trouble. I have no interest in the scale myself. And thus no interesting beside "that's neat".

Not just 1 toy. 8 toys. You get the car and 7 figures for that money. Each of those figures retails for around 25 bucks each. So the car itself is only around 225. That's only a little more than a Titan class Transformer, and those aren't electronic.

Haslab is getting old.. Cost, Wait time, Expected delays. No problem if it Doesnt fund. I think it will though. Ridiculous price yet again. Base model should be cheaper Obviously since Only 75 bucks more for deluxe...great Move by Hasbro though.. Sour tasted the mount definatey getting worse. But Cheers to them for Getting us over and over.. Proton packs one of the only hassle lamps that was worth it in my opinion.. Hiss tanks pretty good though. Not thrilled about the other ones I have overall. But again, They got us.

$300 maybe. $400 is too much for this. It would be nice if they offered an even more scaled down version without electronics or any of the extras/unlocks, but im guessing that would still be $200, but at least that is amore reasonable price for a detailed car in that scale.

It seems you are describing an already existing Ectomobile model: the Ghostbusters (1984) Plasma Series Ecto-1, released earlier this year for around $60. It’s made to go with the 3.75 inch figures (Plasma series O-ring 4-pack of the busters).

Not a fan of GB or haslabs ,dont really care if it funds or not but i think a lot of collecters are tapping out of these $300+ toys that always seem to have qc issues right out of the box . And GB has a tiny fan base anyway who might be buying the mondo stuff anyway .

I would kill for this but I really can't afford $800 for ecto-1/1A and a few figures, hasblow needs to stop with these damn super expensive crowd funds... I mean shit the first couple waves of 6 inch plasma series figures didn't sell very well and went on clearance and now they think those same fans will pay this much for an abandoned toy line?!... I'm dreading a real Ghostbusters ecto-1 from mondo for their figures based on the Peter venkman price tag because I will be getting that ecto for sure... unless it's five or six hundred bucks then they can suck it!
