Me, after enjoying Afterlife: "Please don't be bad, please don't be bad, please..." Yeah, I agree with you, I also like the indie feel of Afterlife, this one does feel more generic, but I still hope it will be a fun ride. Heck, I liked Ghostbusters 2, despite being a weaker sequel.

It's a 'Member Berries' fest for sure, designed to put butts in seats with all it's flashbacks to the original movies and characters. That being said, still looks like it is worth a look when it hits the theaters.

Liked 'Afterlife' but it was basically a kid's movie, the original had more of an anarchic adult vibe. This seems a bit more promising.

❤ I think all of us will enjoy this one & I plan on seeing it when it comes out ❗️If only Rick Moranis can un-shrink himself out of retirement and reprise his role in at least one of these new movies. I don’t want to spoil a couple funny things he does because neither of you as seen GHOSTBUSTERS 2 yet right ❓ FYI there is a cartoon that depicts SLIMER as a more comical friendly character and not just gross like the movies

It feels more like just a cash grab for the studios, more then a quality sequel movie. But that seems to be the theme lately with whats coming out of Hollywood. I'll pass on it and spend more of my time watching more insightful KZbin content like from this place😁

@Force Of Light Entertainment Hello Michelle👋. In all honesty, for me Afterlife was quite meh and average. I thought the writing and the storyline was not that great and Phoebe Spengler came across as such a Mary Sue. That said, it was fun to watch for nostalgia and the only best part of Afterlife was the at the end of the movie with appearances by some of the original cast. Nothing beats the first two movies. This trailer didn't really hit the mark for me but I will download it when it is available and watch it for the original cast members and memberries.

I am worried about the vey obvious involvement of Oswald and Nanjiani, they are two big, waving red flags. I still hope it can be good. I won’t risk opening day, however. I want reviews from trusted sources first.
