Yes social media, people can find 100s of people that reinforce an idea. An idea that is untrue, then a small doubt can spiral out of control. Especially in overthinkers. Then others input can become truth-to that same reinforcement. If you consistently have to try to prove you are sincerely in a relationship. Your intent is not what they think. Then go. I always thought if you kept trying and kept being who you are, a person can see you. You have your perception of them and they of you. When they still see you negatively, you have your own well being to say enough is enough. Potential only carries so far.

Then, a gap in communication. Subsequently, a meeting was set which he cancelled last minute. So... I don't believe he's motivated to follow through in any meaningful way. I think he had a 'life review' due to covid-19 and lockdown, and felt a mixture of guilt, longing, the need to connect, and curiosity. Many of us are going through a similar reevaluation. It's a warm testimony to the time you shared together, but not an indicator of a future desire.

DON'T DO ONLINE DATING PEOPLE! I have never tried and never will and i always had good relationship and now i have another boyfriend which we are together and growing strong for 1,5 years. And met him at a workshop . Last boyfriend; i met at a theatre and the one before ; at friends bday party. I don't even use social media. I think social media is for teenagers. I to had a dear friend I was helping never said thank you, I didn’t want that anyway But they ghosted without a note of goodbye etc So I wrote a letter like they were there in front of me and I gave them a piece of my mind. I said my bit for closure to myself Then I destroyed the letter. I healed and concentrated on myself. It took one hour to actually feel better. I was shocked how something so simple gave me the closure I needed. I accepted things for what they were and I moved on. I met other friends that are lovely and a love interest, all from loving myself again and living my life to fullest

I agree with this ... I found myself in a similar situation. I had committed to my relationship and invested into building the foundation of love and trust through open communication, but time and time again they broke it with lies, deceit, and silence. The flip side to this is they only hurt themselves in the end. They would not listen or allow for open communication to discuss our relationship. I knew time apart was needed, at least to give respect to the friendship we had had before dating, but their shutting down and dismissive was was too much for me to continue to allow for myself. They may not have ghosted contact opportunities, meaning, they wanted to still keep the door open, but they ghosted their heart by shutting down actual communication. This is not a healthy relationship. With that, I ghosted contact. In their heart and mind they know why, yet they probably don’t want to admit it, or are still in denial that they pushed me away. It’s what I needed to do to break free from the emotional abuse.

This was the best Susan. I'm up here in BC Canada and was just chatting with a guy I like for a couple weeks but as soon as I mentioned getting together we chatted about him coming to see me. He's about 2 1/2 hours away but he said he would make the trip. That talk was 2 days ago and I haven't heard a thing from him since so I asked him how he was doing. Your video helped give me the courage to reach out and try to gain some clarity. I told him that if he has moved on then he could tell me honestly by all means and I could too. Now I'm waiting for a reply and if I don't get one I'm moving on. I had a guy pursue me for a year and the attraction was powerful, he was really intense with me but I didn't want to make it exclusive but he really gave me the signs he had more feelings than just physical...just by things he said...then did the fade out and ghosted me for a couple months. I t was super painful for me. I was in love by then. I did ask questions about where we stood but just got vague answers. He contacted me because he was in my area like we're best friends and told me he started seeing someone else but they weren't exclusive. I had lost all trust and respect for him. He apologized but he had every chance to tell me he was seeing someone else but waited months later. He wanted to come by and talk because he was concerned about me...nope I don't even feel emotionally safe around him. I've never been so confused in my life

After being ghosted by last year by someone in a prestigious position with whom I had a professional relationship with, I felt exactly same way. Like I was inherently unworthy of the career I am pursuing. It hurt just as bad as had we been romantically involved.

Above the statistics of 2%, I think what’s most obstructive is that when they realize they’ve screwed up they should take back their mistaken actions instead of adding insult to injury by haunting or being creepy all over again in a whole new way. That to me is the reason why there just can’t be any relationship in that case, period.

Thank you for your videos, you are so wonderful. It is so sad sometimes, to see how many men and women waste time with people who are just playing games with them. Last year I spent almost the whole year on someone playing games with me. She'd run after someone else and after she messed it up, she'd crawl back. I'd find love notes and gifts from other guys she was stringing along. I DONT KNOW WHY I FELT ATTACHED TO THIS PERSON. Even now, I catch myself still feeling that way. It makes no sense. We were in what I thought was a relationship for 4 years. Two years ago I noticed him starting to fade from my life. I didn't question it and I started to fade from his life too. In a sense, we both ghosted each other. Last month (after 2 years) he sent a text wondering how I'm doing. I politely answered. And that's it. Have not heard another word from him. I figure he was lonely and needed to connect with somebody. I'm not proud of ghosting him. I'm usually one who tells it like it is. In this case, not so much.

When it happened to me I asked myself one simple question Is this the sort of man or friend I want in my life, if he’s so rude and horrible now what would he be like in future if we ‘were’ together To be honest he did you a favour by showing you his true colours The person that did this to me, not once were they concerned about if I’m hurt etc, so why should I in turn care or continue to feel pain? I used my anger to get over it, then I healed myself. I concentrated only on my self growth etc and worked on myself I met someone new after this healing and he’s an adult, not immature at all We are friends, I told him let’s be friends for now and he didn’t mind, he still calls me his girlfriend

Women ghost because they realized they are not attracted to a man, that’s why they never come back. Women can’t force themselves to be attracted to someone. There is attraction or not. If women don’t feel attracted anymore or if they never were attracted then they will ghost and never come back.

I think it all comes down to if your "significant other hopeful" is doing any of these things, ghosting, haunting, (insert other game here), etc., It simply means they just aren't that into you or else at best, you are on the back burner. I watch my daughter and her friends (early 20's in age). When they are really into a guy they hold and watch their phone like little hawks just waiting for the text to come through so they can text back. When the person is into you, really really into you, there are zero games. One of the girls we hosted from Spain in a foreign exchange program lived with us for a month. She was really into this little dude from back home. She literally was on her phone 90 percent of the time while she visited with us and we took her around showing her around and letting her experience life in the USA for her first time. She barely saw the United States, it was irritating. Like I said, when they are into you they are glued to their phones. If you are experiencing ANY of theses games I wouldn't give that person any more time of your day or life. Move on to someone else

Tina Beauty 🌸 you are quite right to stay away from him But don’t ghost him in way he did to you. Tell him what you saw and explain where you stand that you are looking for a meaningful relationship with someone that respects you and treats you right and you know nothing is perfect but hopefully you meet someone that talks things out instead of being puerile. Tell him only if he’s truly serious then contact you but if he’s just not sure what he wants then he needs space to figure that out. Something like that and leave the ball in his court. Will no contact will work on a player ex? My ex liked me a lot but for some reason he got cold that drove me crazy and whenever I was asking him what’s wrong he would say I’m just having some difficulties in my life. However I received a disturbing email with some horrible pictures from his ex stating that he is a player and you should leave him cause he is gonna hurt you. That led to a big fight between us I haven’t done the no contact yet it’s been only 3 days since the last time I spoke to him. We had the worst argument but at the end he apologized and he was pretty genuine with me. He blocked me for few hours but then he unblocked me. I don’t even know what we are now. I don’t know if I should move on or try the no contact. Im pretty desperate now and I want him so bad cause we had the best time together within 10 months relationship.

Yes i was very verbal. Because of being a doormat for too long, i unfortunately say stuff as i think about it... which is good and bad. As, i am not exactly thinking about the way i am saying it. I expect it to be reciprocal. A cutoff is very painful. I had done it seriously 1 time. But i had communicated several times of what was going on in my life. And we needed a reevaluation. I did not block i allowed communication but they removed me and blocked. So, i got that as done. I apologized. Sincerely, explained exactly why. In my opinion, You do not block someone you are with a relationship with. It is so disrespectful. Ghosting and hoookup culture is really big. One reason I don't really date. They fear confrontation; well if you don't like a behaviour or something hurt you or you don't want to do something. You say something. Piling it all up makes all those little repressed bites and ticks much bigger than they are. If you are confronted with a list of all the things one did to hurt you all at once; honestly check yourself. Well you will feel attacked and hurt if you care about that pwrson. That resentment changes your behaviour like other owes, they should know, isn't it just common decency... etc. They aren't you, they can't read your mind and you don't know their family dynamics. Basically calling out stuff you like, don't like, shows them how you like to be treated... it isn't disrespectful nor rude. And women, the men that just know what you like and have mind blowing sex, congratulations. Could be lottery winner or there is a reason they are... well, that way. But everyone should be comfortable enough to express their sexual needs without being shamed. Relying on a partner for all emotional needs and scapegoating a partner for your change of emotions and clear dynamic shift may or may not be their fault or anyones. It should be a partnership not a power struggle.

@@sandalkasimi2354 Love that comment!!! I had been reflecting with every argument... i thought i communicated clearly back and showed action and intent. Also explained that if you don't at least hear me out or my reasoning, I will leave... had to explain if i am upset and hurt I am not leaving permanently, it is me calming down and thinking on what they said. Pressured hasty decisions are something i don't do when it involves myself and life decisions. Learned my lesson on that one.

Forced misunderstandings because there was a lot of refusal to hear me out because if they felt something was true; it is regardless of circumstance. To come up with solutions to issues was to criticize and they didn't want solutions they wanted pity or sympathy. I guess I was also starting to resent the victim mentality that was persistent in relationship. Covert power plays and manipulations that I couldn't see while emotional invested... dynamic became too codependent. I started seeking too much validation from them when i used to self validate.
