So for whatever reason half of my footage decided to record in HVEC format and washed out the colors when transferred to the editing software . So if some of this looks foggy, that’s why.

for the future you can use ffmpeg to easily convert hevc into h264

The moment you realize you can skip the dialogue on the NPCs and speedrun the hub by spamming space bar and clicking the yellow dialogue option

Real asf, there was too much talking compared to the first game.

Optional dialogue , we gonna forget about architect bla bla bla during cybervoid levels?
@NamelessCrusad3rАй бұрын
@@romuloprieto2529 you can also turn dialogue volume to 0 and remove architect’s yapping as well

I agree with this review, while I like that they added more content and enemies than the first game, and it looks visually stunning, the “open world” sections outside of dharma get really janky and boring. There’s some cool ass moments with the motorbike but it feels a little half baked, and those levels just don’t fit the fast paced feel of ghostrunner. (Despite going 250 km/h on a bike.)

There is a special upgrade which if you install has a specific benefit but comes at the cost of NOT being able to gap jam on enemies. I think most likely you had the upgrade installed.

Have you checked if you have the upgrade that costs you using your gapjammer on enemies?

of course, the game wouldn't allow me to use it for some reason.

My personal experience with GR2 is that the gameplay is generally solid, but there were a few bits I came to dislike. My first big complaint ended up being the boss fights from a stylistic POV. GR1's boss battles felt like two glass cannons going head to head in a world made of paper. It felt right. GR2's... do not, being more akin to feeling like my glass cannon is now loaded with feathers, while theirs still fires cannon balls. Naga and Avatar fights though did feel more stylistically appropriate. Second, while I don't hate the free roaming (quite liked it in some ways), the bike is WAY too janky handling for my taste.

I have GOG version of the game, and it seems to have less bugs, at least major ones. Performance is still varied. If I had to add to your thoughts I'd say that the second game has too many buttons, makes me want to buy a gaming mouse with extra buttons, because with blocking and shurikens and gap-jamer it is a lot of buttons to press almost at once.

Got this from ps+ and coming from doom eternal it the map design and movement feels very janky, like wall runs and climbing up walls specifically because they are very glitchy for me at least

A well rounded review! As a HUGE fan of the first game, this one felt mediocre. The bike sections were horrible and the rest of the game feels like it's missing something. Apart from a couple of levels where the soundtrack fits perfectly ('Setting the stage' immediately comes to mind), the rest of the game has some pretty underwhelming music. The open world section of the game has successfully dampened my interest in the series.

I'm sorry but if the first one is like the second one it kills the power fantasy of being this badass cyborg ninja when a butterfly lands on you and you die and have to restart the entire level. Don't get me wrong because I love super hot and replayed super hot until I unlocked every trophy on that game. So I was really having high hopes for this. I was hyped all until I died at the same spot in the same level 15 times over and after 30 minutes made zero progress. I get that this is a dark soulsy kind of game where balls to the wall and difficulty are there at all times. But cooooome onnnnn. And I'm going to assume that what I'm playing is the demo where everybody else seems to have the actual game. If this demo is anything like the game I definitely will not be paying for it
