I like the review. Apparently Lenny said that they didn't have the budget to give us his correct accessories. Honestly I think that's kind of lame. You know considering this is a retro line. I love the way this figure looks. I have a couple of the deluxe version. However this looks like the original. The blue pops much better. Definitely looks better with the AK. The French famas just doesn't do it for me.

And that's the thing isn't it, if you can't do it justice, why do it? I agree, it's lame AF, but here I am the dolt that's purchased it. As others will also. He looks solid, but the FAMAS falls short.

Yep sometimes Hasbro just doesn't make any sense. As well as this line is doing for them you would think they would find the money to do it right.

I don’t consider him a true “retro”figure but more of a repaint and repack of the deluxe figure for that exact reason they need to have there original accessories!!! hopefully this isn’t something we are going to start seeing a lot of in this retro line as time goes on ………I think they did it because they knew he was going to sell anyways as a army builder and for all they people that missed out on deluxe one so they weren’t worried about it and said fuck it 🤷🏻 it was quick and easy for them repaint ,repackaged ,done. All the other ones have required a little more work and they definitely cut corners on him to make up for it 👎🏻

I think one way around it would be to at least throw in a slate grey AK series firearm in as an accessory for some other figure so we can repurpose it. It is kinda strange though considering they have an AK mold already. & they were quite happy to throw that in with Sgt Slaughter too. The "Extra guns" that come with the viper 3 pack fit in his hands reasonably well though for the time being. The mold does have very tight hands though that is for sure & it can make holding some things awkward.

Yup those two were confirmed prior. That HALO jumper will likely reuse accessories and parts from Ripcord/Crazy Legs.

Hey man. I’m over here in the States. I just recently got into Classified. And I’m almost done collecting. I’ve got ten figures, and I’m just waiting for Alpine and battle armor Cobra Commander. Then I’m done. But I think I’ll still continue to watch your reviews because you do a job and new toys are always cool, even if I’m just watching someone else get new toys.

@@SharkEyesToyView I only wanted to get my favorites from the 80’s cartoon. I also preferred some of the more modern, updated redesigns. Now that it’s going to a more simplified cartoon accurate aesthetic, I’m less interested. Plus the floppy guns 😂

As for the figure, yeah it's nice and all, but we shouldn't have to do that because the Hasbro bean counters decide they want to stiff us and LOL at the card art. I hope they didn't go that route. Hector Garrido didn't die for this.

Nice Retro Snow Serpent, totally a throwback to the vintage. Between the Retro and the Deluxe version, I prefer the paint on the Deluxe one but I wish I bought multiple of these instead of buying 6 of the Deluxe Snow Serpents

One of my friends just sent a leaked list of what's going to be announced. Cobra stinger with driver. Storm Shadow version 2.. retro carded Cobra trooper... Everything else on the list has already been announced. It looks to be somebody's order list like a retailer or a small toy shop. Not 100% confirmed but I wouldn't be surprised if it's spot-on. Just wanted to share.

I was just looking at it on insta. Storm Shadow v2 is a day one pre-order. If that retro CC is hooded, that will be the biggest selling figure of the line yet.

Bro I would love a retro hooded Cobra Commander. Hasbro is definitely missing an opportunity if they don't release that figure. Now there's all kinds of controversy as to why. To me I think they're being a little bit extreme if what I have heard is true.

good review bro maaan I d l;ike to get a big shark like the comics for my Torpedo - eels and I remember this one, so cool! I want 2 each eels - snow serpents for now as I have no snow job, or water - arctic dio the other Cobra divers are not as good to me but those 2 are fab! news of Cobra reg troopers coming get me stressed though, as this is going to be expensive 10 x i grenadiers, bats, reg troopers 1.5 Can K ouch! I do the cards as you do, it s ok like that for me I can repack the fig, I do good cuts, it becomes a 'tray' like a drawer, and works good, just not as the boxes of course yeah, I guessed the anti armour weapon was missing, but hey, there s no snow cat or polar bear available... no need for but... it begs for a 'battle gear' kit crates of weapons bazookas, mortars, rifles.. hopefully, Hasbro ll do it, I asked many times his rifle is better, the old one was an ak 47 thin shoulder support not bad, but not as hi tech as this, Dusty s gun. like the snow shoes, a good improvement, more advanced, Cobra... comments it s work to build a channel, I have one I like comments for my troubles and it s deserved that I do some to the creators and it s not enough to say ; good job! or super! it s superficial, and we go nowhere I criticise, good and bad, and it s to help. ohh, a grid iron surprise! ouh, ouh! mmm, not bad! I d buy a package deal, otherwise it s too expensive for me my chain of command C Commander Dr mindbender Baroness M Bludd [on leave - unavailable] blue with logo scrap iron firefly officers the rest is reg troop grade, lowest is vipers bats are weapons, not personnel improvements on your channel work a dio to review is much better the comparison with 3' is a nice extra but where are the other figs? C Commander, Baroness, an officer, snow job a legends, like ice man, or any of other lines that can relate, snow - arctic how smaller than Gung ho? and please adjust the intro music, it s louder than your voice afterwards, a common mistake oh, a few dif poses to end the video is always a nice touch, alone, many... always good! so now you know... good show bro

Yep, primary weapon is a fail. The pistols also aren't too crash hot and no rocket firing device.

Great review! I'm not real knowledgeable on military weapons - is that based on a real weapon? It seems like having the clip behind the trigger and then extended butt would be a huge hinderance.

It certainly is based on a real world weapon, which is the French made FAMAS.

If you watch the review, it will become pretty clear what was problematic. Also, since recording ended, one of the issues worsened.

also they have multiple ak-47 molds...why the hell does it come withe the Famas? it used be joes came with allied/nato weapons and cobra withe eastern block. What are they doing?

To me he’s not a true “retro” figure as he doesn’t come with his original accessories I don’t know why they cut corners with him like that but hopefully it’s not something they start doing with this retro line……great review 👍🏻 all around in general I feel classified is getting really lazy and cheap about making new accessories sometimes it is necessary

Some of their choices seem like bad planning like they had slightly rolled up sleeves on Retro Duke and yet didn't wait until the mold part was free they used short sleeves on Doc instead which much like with the AK is annoying when you know they have the part. Heck it totally seems like it is worth their while making a new AK series mold as the old one with it's funny removable front piece is a bit peculiar. I think a new mold based on an AK74M would be nice to have potentially. It is odd considering the have quite a few SMG molds that they don't have a few more options of rifles than they do. Dusty's 'Bullpup' can be temperament in some figures hands though due to the same reason seen in this video which is unless the character's wrist can get close to the trigger group then the it tends to sit at a funny angle in their hand. So Stalker's buck or someone skinny like Snake Eyes and the girls too can hold it fine but something with a wider sleeve has an issue like a Snow Serpent or a Mold Rat for example.

great review they got so low effort on retro version... At least do old snow shoes hasbro... The eel is so low effort to. Huge bummer famas added just dont scream i need this one the $35 had so much 10 less all we get is slightly brighter. Should of did his face mask and around eyes all black to. They give this to F team that are not to into joe history and to lazy to google images. Shame really but great vid hard pass for me.

Thanks for checking it out and the kind praise. Yep unfortunately the budget just wasn't there to fully do the figure justice and that's a cop out from Hasbro as far as I'm concerned. I just feel bad for Lenny and the design team, because they have to put a product out that they probably aren't fully on board with.
