GIANT 50+ INCH MUSKIE From My Kayak! (My Biggest Ever!)

Kayak fishing for bass and muskie on Cave Run Lake Kentucky on a chilly and rainy March day! I trolled for roughly 6 hours by peddling my kayak, since I am still fairly recently post-op shoulder surgery. Trolling allows me to cover water and save casting for later in the year. That was a awesome musky. My 11yr old son is wanting to catch a musky so bad. I'm going to try to take him to the spillway at Cave run as much as I can this year. Hopefully he will catch one.

What boat ramp are you using to access the water? I live an hour away and have never been here but see multiple points of entry on the map. Thanks in advance!

The stoney cove access is free and is what I used here. Most other ramps on the lake that I know of are pass-only, so you'd need to pick up a parking pass for the day week or year somewhere close. Crashes landing has them for sure, and a few gas stations as well.
