Hi Sonny, 14:03 those are not cassava root, but jícama or yam bean root. It also confusing for Vietnamese cause this in southern Vietnam is called “củ sắn” but in northern Vietnam is “củ đậu”, and the cassava root in southern Vietnam is “củ khoai mì” but in northern Vietnam is call “củ sắn”. So if a southerner says “củ sắn” then it is the Yam bean root, but if a northerner says “củ sắn” then it is cassava root. 😄

Vietnamese vegetarian foods are so underrated, they are good+cheap and you don't really crave meat after eating them for awhile cause there are meat substitudes made from soy product that taste very much like real meat with proper seasoning.

I'm from North East India, here Eels are smoked dried and then can be stored for months. We cook them in various dishes. Please come to North East India and try our dishes because we don't use much masala and turmeric like mainland Indian dishes but mainly just fermented stuffs ♥️
