I was fishing in Mexico last week, we were trolling for Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna, and I ended up catching a 4 1/2 foot Barracuda (my PB) among other things, although I have to say, a lot less fun on the 30W than it is with a 6000 size spinning reel.

You can eat the small barracuda's but the large ones you cant because they have high amounts of poison in them. Its also very dangerous to gaff them as they have very sharp teeth.

Why not use musky nets instead of gaffs or boat flipping. Musky and pike are horrible when it comes to headshakes but I’ve never had any issues getting a hold of their gill plate in a net. It would probably be much easier
