Happy birthday to your son!, can I suggest a tip? when using a template...you know how you get the frayed edges when you cut them out? What I do to prevent that showing on my finished piece or from having to fix it is I actually place the template upside down, and when you flip the fondant over, its very smooth and no need to smooth edges out. Try it you’ll be amazed how much easier it is.

As an AFOL, or Adult Fan Of LEGO I have to say I love how much time and effort you put into the precise nature of this wonderful invention. The very thing that makes these blocks so much fun is the way that they fit together. I know you do this for every cake(longtime fan)-referring to the measurements taken and retaken. I just wanted you to know that I connected the two. A tiny correction the plugs as you called them are technically called “studs” in the LEGO community. I originally came here as a crafter watching the way you work with what I know of as clay tools. I have since grown to love the cakes you make every week and don’t consider my week complete unless I have seen my Tues. video.
