Mantas are a gorgeous example of the diversity of life in the oceans & how every creature is special in its own way.

Right! All the techno was too much, then they even had some strobe light segments! I love music and understand they were trying to make it exciting, but it didn't work right. Very beautiful cinematography!

We hope to protect these extraordinaries marine cratures from poachers, overfishing and maintain clean the waters from our oceans, because these are the habitats for manta rays, sharks and other species. 🦈🦈 Thanks for sharing this amazing documentary of our ecosystem. 🦈🦈🌊

This is an awesome documentary, I'm fascinated by Manta Rays. On a side note, I think at 11:06-ish I saw the man in the green shorts display more than his photography skills, I think I saw his left nugget 😆 🤣 I could be wrong, but it really looked like it lol

Scientists should stop telling everyone where the animals are in these videos. Every time I try to watch a video about our oceans' animals I am forced to learn that the animals are under siege & it's heartbreaking!!! Much more needs to be & must be done to preserve the creatures in our oceans & seas!!!

I believe that is in United States waters. There's also a difference between a handful of researchers going out once or twice a year to visit the same area and a few of the same mantas, and a tourist destination where the same mantas would be mobbed daily by strangers who know nothing about them. It looked to me like one particular manta was having the "touchy-feeley" interactions letting the diver ride it and collect mucus from its back. Watch a few more documentaries - if the manta doesn't want to interact with the divers it can easily get away.

There's almost no video about animals in the ocean we can watch today without finding out the creatures are endangered due to human greed & irresponsible practices. After awhile it gets depressing to watch a video about any wildlife.

While staying in Cabo we could watch the sting rays & eagle rays chase fish into shallow waters at night so they could more easily catch them. It seems a lot of other ray species are also intelligent.

Okay I'm off for learning about Majestic animals but what I do not approve of the fact that you have to actually hurt them and order to do so no animal or being should be tagged to learn their ways it should be just enough to be able to get into the water and see

It looks like more of a surprise reaction. The first couple they tagged or biopsied were like "Yeah, whatever, I'm filter-feeding, see ya later." The one that bolted might be younger and/or more of the Nervous Nellie of the population.
