I enjoy watching people who respect the fish as much as I do. Catch and release to give the next angler a chance at the same thrill you guys had. Nothing wrong with keeping a few fish if you enjoy a good meal but its refreshing to see the appreciation you guys have for the fish itself. Great vid, keep em coming. Cheers, and tight lines!

Thanks Andrew! Agreed! I love when people catch and release and take care of the bigger fish. It is very important for years to come of fishing. Like you said, gives others a chance to have a thrill too! Mille lacs has some giants out there. Can't wait to get back up there. Thanks for checking out the video!

Was up near Leech this morning for crappie. Might have to run up next weekend for one of these pike. Depends on the ice of course.
@BryanProkuski7 жыл бұрын
Still on them leech crappies I see...Nice! Ya I didn't know about the extended season for pike on Mille Lacs. Glad I found out and made one last trip up. It was a blast. Ice was crazy thick, probably over 24" but lots of cracks were opening up so I would walk only if you go. Ice looked unpredictable.

+Fishing With Bryan Prokuski I'm going up this weekend. Most likely Sunday. What side were you on? I'm also going to need to locate some big suckers and keep them alive in my Engel cooler, I think. Last time I was up on Mille Lacs you could t find suckers anywhere.
@BryanProkuski7 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Goodluck out there and be safe! I was on the north west side in 9ft of water. And I made sure to find suckers before I headed up there as some of the bait shops our closed for the season on Mille Lacs. I picked up my bait at Prince's bait off of 169 in Milaca. Great store. You will have to let me know how you do.
@darkadaephon42347 жыл бұрын
Oh good. I stop at either Princes or Reeds, usually. Princes it is.

No, my buddy brought the tip ups. Not sure why that one didn't have much line on it.

I love fishing big pike! I live 2 hrs from millelacs. Any chance you could give me some tips for pike fishing it? you could send a PM if you want. If not i totally understand. again great video!!

Thanks man, I love big pike too. Mille lacs has some fattys in it! I mainly fish the north end out of Garrison. Pretty much anywhere off that first break is good for early and late ice pike. Big bait, big fish. During mid winter never really targeted them out there. If you ever want to meet out there let me know. I'll probably be out there few times this season.
