Welcome back to yet ANOTHER Tomb Raider game!
We're now playing "Anniversary" - and yes, I know, Legend was released before this. BUT I heard that chronologically, this comes first, so I decided to start with this. Hope you'll enjoy my first playthrough of this game!

Larson isn't as ruthless in the remake, so he actually missed Lara on purpose. Just like Pierre, he didn't want to shoot Lara in the back, and he also stopped the Skateboard Kid from shooting her.

I like how Natla at 1:33:36 hesitates before she respons "once." In neurolinguistics looking down and to the right it interprets as a connection with own emotions. And down/left - analytical thinking/calculating/inner dialog. I dont really think that developers intended this that deep. But its a nice touch to think that she might feel anger or pain of what happened to her back there...stripping of the title, chance...who knows right

I always had trouble with Anniversary just because I am not a very skilled player. lol It wasn't a fun game for me even though I liked the graphics and design of the game. I just wasn't any good at it. I admire your tenacity and pushing through this.

No need to compare. I play games +20h every week. Different games all the time, but still. And as long as you are having fun, you play it right!

28:50 was this the game where she was already able to stand on top of the poles by climbing them up to jump off of them or did this happen later on in the series?

Na you can't do that here. I don't know in which she can. Maybe Underworld?

​​​​@@LIZZgamePerhaps 😁 While in the topic (even though you've probably barely started legend by now), you should probably play the PC version of underworld but after finishing it, please play the Xbox 360 exclusive DLC! Don't worry about finding the game, or an Xbox console (unless you happen to have one and the store still works, they're all available on newer xboxes via backwards compatibility), there's a well known youtuber mainly focused on tomb raider who covers all of that, I'll bring it up once you're about to finish that game 😁 Not only are they important story wise, but one of them has really cool puzzles that take advantage of the game mechanics, and the other one is just... Something else 😂

Still a little miffed they robbed us of a timed motorcycle segment to do a 2 fast 2 furious on us and instead cutscened it.

I mean, it used to be a cutscene in the OG as well.. I am surprised they turned a lot of the bossfights into Quick-Time-Events.
