Something that really gets me is in most of the videos I have seen about abandoned hospitals is all of the patient charts, x-rays, ect that get left behind. So much personal information left behind. You would think that it would fall under HIPPA laws. I talked to someone about that and was told that the establishment that is closing is supposed to have them stored in a safe and secure place. If they don't then the board of health is supposed to step in and do it. Patient files are supposed to be kept for at least 20 years before being destroyed. I know that I personally would not want all of my personal information left laying around like that for anyone else to have access to. Again, a great job and awesome video.

Yes you’re correct they should be stored in a safe secure place. It’s mind blowing how many hospitals break that law. The board of health should be responsible for removing all the patient records. They never do that though.

Awesome video. I was surprised it was in such good shape for being closed for that long. Kudos on a job well done.

It's really bizarre all hospital equipment Left behind. If it was financial issues. That accountant got behind. Or it could have been malpractice and they got sued Office equipment could be donated to another hospital

Why would you ever put your hand into a sharps box? And no, that vacutainer tube didn't hold a "tetanus shot". Vacutainer tubes are for blood specimen collection, not for holding medications or vaccines. This one was empty - holding only the plasma separation gel. Oh, and, by the way...residents are doctors.

This is sad, so many places that don't have any of those equipments. They show donate it to unprotected little clinics so they won't go to waste. I wish I had money to buy all these equipments and donate them so that they can help other's. So what's going to happen with the parents record's? Lord please touch the owner's heart ❤ 🙏 so they can at least don't let all those equipments go to waste 🙏 or a go me fund to try and get all these to be used in places that are needed. When you don't have nothing, anything is perfect. God please touch there heart's 🙏 ♥ ❤

Cool looking equipment left there but looks kinda outdated. The furniture could be easily recycled to be used again.

What you're referring to as "spinal cord" is actually a spine. The spinal cord is inside of the spine.

The building looked to be in okay state. Its such a shame because the longer it just sits the more it's just gonna rot
@christianehuber11452 жыл бұрын
Unbelievable what value is wasted there. Everything rots! All the equipment that could no longer be auctioned off could have been donated to charitable aid projects in good time. That's how everything breaks! Some bush hospitals in Africa would have been happy to get all the equipment.

In my hometown of Wadsworth, Ohio, My Boyfriend and I were riding our bikes thru town 2 weeks ago when I noticed there's THREE abandoned houses next to each other.. and two tiny shacks in another part of town. We just peaked thru the windows and saw the inside of the houses were a mess. One of them being an old orginal brick home with lots of stuff still inside. Magazines, books, t.v, furniture. The whole place on the outside smelled Old and Musty. According to a mail date we saw, it has been sitting that way at least 2 years..... Would be cool to find out the history but I don't know how or where to go.

If they had financial issues how and why the lights still on
@abandonedcentral2 жыл бұрын
Because when a business closes like this the bank takes over the property. They leave the electric on so the heat can run. If they don't do that the pipes will burst and the entire building will be destroyed.
