I think this is an excellent idea. My two cents: the best piece of advice you could offer, and it’s something people never seem to listen to, would be to not wait until hurricane season or until there’s an actual storm bearing down on you to prepare. We keep two cases of bottled water under the bed, plenty of nonperishable food in the pantry, camping gear, etc. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Survivalism 101.

Holy shite!!! Trip of a lifetime for sure. I was up there last year but didn’t get a chance to fish. Naval retirement for a friend. I had no clue the quality of fishery there. Just awesome!

Wow Aaron, that really is an EPIC day. When I first heard you mention bigeye and then you guys broke out the spinning rods, I laughed, but you guys made it happen. Just to catch BE on spinning gear is almost unheard off, let alone a day where you catch bluefin, yellowfin, and BEs.

@@KeyWestWaterman I had a 20K Stella on a Ocea BG Monster Drive Rod and sold it. Too much power for Long Island Sound... I would never use it. Glad the Saragosas held up. I see a Twin Power. Those are exactly what you catch in Florida. We call them false albacore or Albies up here but people in Florida call them Bonita. The scientific name is Little Tunny

My 2 cents on you doing more traveling or not...I do think it will expand your subscribers without a doubt, but I appreciate how honed in you are to the waters in KW. I'm no expert but KW is one of the top fisheries in the world. DMFD travels the world non-stop and that looks exhausting to me. As a fan...I would say travel a few times times a year (2-8 times) and still make your living in KW.

Nice yellow fin great video y'all do some good cooking and sushi videos, I live in south Louisiana about 40 minutes from Venice, Louisiana, my best yellow fin was 137 lbs, I mostly fish for speckled trout,reds, and flounder, every now and then we go offshore on a charter for red snapper, king mackerel, and other snapper's like Lane , vermillion, and mangrove tks tks care may god bless.

Looks like you enjoyed our NE Canyon fishery. It's like SeaWorld for sure. I spend 30-40 trips to our canyons a year, and never the it for granted. It's special, especially taking others there. Glad you had an opportunity to get in on a good bite.

Great stuff. Just food for thought, there are a couple of spearfishing vids I’ve seen with over a million views. I think you should go for it man. You’ve got the ingredients. Traveling spearfishing vids to exotic (nearby) locations with Madeline. It seems worth a shot bc it’s just a nice vacation or two if the vids don’t work out as planned

When I can’t be in the water Spearfishing I love to settle back, breath up, and dive in to one of your videos. ( especially if it is from my stomping grounds of RI).
