In case you were wondering: 1. YES, I did rinse the clothes in the sink off camera before drying them. 2. The spin cycle is best used with the drain open, but my intention was to show the effectiveness of the spin by observing the amount of water left over in the bucket. 3. White clothes should be washed separate, but I have no need for the onesie and only used it as a test. 4. I do appreciate you for watching! :)

You could've gotten that juice out with just water. It's not a "stain" until it's been allowed to sit and fully dry
@littleogeechee223
@littleogeechee223 10 ай бұрын
Naturally it’s going to remove the stain when you immediately treat the item and put it right in the wash. The trick is letting the juice set in for a day or so and then seeing how it does. I have been debating buying one of these for my little apartment, anyway, and using it to wash small and delicate items like underwear. That much I wouldn’t have to cart around to the laundry room. I like this. Thanks for the demo.

This is such a great video! I have an in-kitchen w/d and even I want one of these! I only do laundry once a week unless I have an emergency thing to clean (like spilled tea on a bedsheet, etc., and the last time I did that, I just rinsed it out in the sink and hung it to dry. This looks great for washcloths, cleaning cloths, and panties. I'm also a minimalist so I don't own a lot of garments or linens, and this would be great to avoid firing up the w/d to clean just a few items. Just a note to those who don't know: You never want to put a bra in a washer or a dryer. You'll ruin it. Heat from hot water or the dryer can damage the elastic, and the agitation from the washer and dryer could damage the fabric. Yes, sure, you can use a "lingerie bag," but even then that's overkill for a bra. many bras are just too delicate for w/d's. They should be hand washed, then gently pressed between a soft clean towel to remove excess water, then either hung by the bridge over a rod (the bridge is the fabric between the two cups), or laid flat to dry on a clean towel. To hand clean a bra, put some cool water in a basin or CLEAN sink and add a few drops of clear unscented dishwashing liquid or your liquid laundry detergent (preferably unscented, you don't want those garbage smells of fake scents in your house). Then swish the bra(s) around a bit, let them sit for about 10-15 minutes. Drain the basin, remove the bras, and lay them flat on a clean dry cotton towel, pressing the top of the towel gently over the bras sitting on the towel. Then hang to dry. Don't ever hang a bra by its strap, like over a hook or whatever, only hang it by the bridge. I lay mine flat to dry, but I make all my bras, I'm very gentle with them!

~ Not much of a stain as it was fresh and didn’t have time to “ set”. I’ve heard these are all right though. One caveat I’ve heard about is that you have to give the little motor about five minutes to cool down between cycles or the whole machine will burn out within weeks. Let it cool down for five minutes between cycles and apparently they last pretty long.

You must get the soap out of the clothes. The spin cycle alone does nothing. Especially with baby clothes. It can really irritate skin. Plus soap in your clothes attracts dirt and odors. After washing, rinse the clothes thoroughly, either in a sink, tub, shower, then spin them (1/2 a load at a time…and you’ll see there’s still soap). Then fill the whole thing up with water again and do a rinse cycle (add a little fabric softener if you like). Number one rule with these little washers is soap is your enemy. Use very, very little (like just on the stains). They actually do a decent job agitating the clothes and that’s what gets them clean. Good review video!!

Your voice is like ultra soothing. Anyway I got mine as well and it has saved me and my wife loads of quarters (each load of laundry costs at least 10 quarters at our apartment). EDIT: Amazingly, right after posting this, mine stopped working. I took it apart to see if I could shed some light on what went wrong, and oh boy, did I ever; there is NOTHING shielding the electronic components from any water that may (and did) leak while draining. Good while it lasted but poorly made. EDIT 2: NEVERMIND, it still works! I think I just used too much fabric softener. 🤷🏻🤷🏻

If you add a little baking soda and borax, most stains will be gone. Also deodorizes clothes. Don’t use a ton of detergent. It cleans better with less and protects clothes. You didn’t rinse them before spin either. And the valve needs to be open to drain water out on spin cycle. And the balls are fabric softening balls. They really aren’t for drying.

👍I bought one of these for like ten bucks. It was a special sale for new temu customers. For ten bucks I bought it. Actually it is pretty decent. My regular washer died, so have been going to laundromat. But in the meantime, it is good for a light pair of shorts, a tee shirt, a couple bras, a few pairs of underwear, bandanas, half dozen crew socks, 2 pair heavy knee socks, handkerchiefs, a couple wash clothes, a few bibs, light baby clothes, etc. Nothing too big or bulky. For small lighter items it does work well. When it dies, I plan on buying another. I have the 8 liter, but have seen 9, 10 and 11 Liter ones too; though they cost slightly more. (And as small as it is, it uses a tiny amount of soap. while can fold it down, I usually leave it up, as it really is small and hardly uses space. As much as I use it, seems easier to just leave it up.) I would recommend for RV's, undies, socks, etc.👍

Check out the Morus dryer. It's a tabletop dryer that doesn't need an outside vent. Pricy at 450$ but maybe someone will design a knock-off from China at a lower price. It looks great, and I want it for my house up in Tahoe.

I assume because it doesn't need a vent, you can put it anywhere near a 110V outlet? The photos show people with it in their living room on a coffee table. LOL. It looks so great for a vacation home.

Just discovered your channel - great demo, clear explanations and honest feedback based on your experience. I finally bought one of these yesterday and can't wait to receive it. I think you're supposed to remove the stopper and put it somewhere where it can drain whilst you use the spin cycle - that should stop the collection of water and suds you had in the bottom 😊 Thank you - I'm impressed with what you do so am going to subscribe 😎

I thought the same as you regarding the spin cycle. It seemed really odd to spin and leave the water in the machine! I'd definitely refill with water and run another wash cycle again, perhaps twice, to rinse the suds away before a final spin. A good idea, but quite labour intensive to if you want to do it thoroughly

Hi Jeremy! I'm new to your channel, I appreciate your honesty on the variety of products that you review. I think that I'll be ordering one of these cute, little washers along w/ the nose trimmer for my cousin who loves gadgets but is not the biggest fan of clean underwear and socks . This will make it fun and interesting for her. The nose trimmer is self explanatory. I'll show her your videos to inspire her.

Wonderfully detailed video. Before I watched this I also ended up doing the Dehydration cycle with water continuously draining through the open drain to clean out the suds. The instructions sheet doesn’t say how to clean so it’s really about experimenting. Definitely need to do 2 or more Dehydration/spin cycles to rinse the clothes and the inside of the machine. Been needing this mini washing machine for years since monthly I’ll have red sauce stains from spaghetti/lasagna and my kids throw up/diaper accidents.

Thanks for this review Jeremy. A friend and I have been looking at this washing machine for what seems like forever but I just wanted to be able to actually see it work before making my decision and giving him an opinion. It looks to be a good idea, especially with the way my husband can go through t-shirts, yet I agree with commenters here when it comes to the white t-shirt and the immediate stain removal is just not possible and it has to wait until a more convenient time and therefore the stain dries on the garment and is then very difficult to get out. but I am going to get this one as I totally believe that it waill help me reduce the amount of times I have to run to the laundromat. Thank you for the discount offer (if I get it I think I will. I don't remember if I have officially signed up or not for Temu yet or not. I just know that I get the ads) Jean

When you spin it out you should have the drain open so any water that's extracted out will be drained out of the appliance that way the water and soap doesn't stay inside the bottom of the washer and get the clothes all wet

You're right, but my intention was to show the total amount of water that's left over in order to judge how effective the spin is.

I have that washer. Not bad for small things. The spin basket, not so much. Great for apartment dwellers. I've had mine for about 1 year. I don't use it regularly because I have a washer already. But it has worked through many cycles so far. It used to be around $50 when it first came out, within months, it is now going for under $20. I got mine for free. In a pinch it works well. Don't use heavy items such as denim. It also won't take one bed sheets. Too large. It's basically a glorified mop bucket with a motor.

Great concept. Speed Queen should jump on this and make a bigger, more premium version. My school backpack is 20 L and this washing machine is only 8 L, way too small. I'd like to see a 40 L collapsible washing machine with a much better motor. It would be perfect for apartment dwellers. You could do your laundry in the shower or the bathtub.

UPDATE: Went to use it a few days ago, and I turned it on, and it would turn off immediately. Then that completely stops & won't work. I decided to open the bottom where the motor was to see if something came loose. Nope, everything was still attached. The motor is super small, and it was rusty. There was black stuff like oil in there. There's a few wires & that's it. I dont know what went wrong. I took care of it & never overloaded it. I would dry it & leave the lid open. I didn't bother collapsing it to store it fit perfectly on my shelf. They are sending me another one. I may open where the motor is just to see if it's rusty. If so, I'm returning it for a refund.

In my household there is myself, a 13yr old, and a 4yr old. My washing machine sweet spot is the 17lb. twin tub washer. I LOVE that thing. I can do all my laundry except larger items like rugs and comforters. I rarely use my full size anymore. It cleans so well and much faster than the full size even if it is a little more hands on than a fully auto washing machine.

I have one (light green mint color) that I use for my gym clothes. I go to the gym twice a week and don’t want to wait until I take my normal laundry to wash them because I need them right away. I find it works well but only for very small loads. Like I’ll put two tank tops in there for 5 minutes. Then my two pairs of shorts separately for 5 minutes each. I find if I combine them, they don’t mix into the water really well because the motor is not like a regular washing machine. I then empty the water and put fresh water to do a rinse cycle. I wring them out by hand instead of using the basket. I could never even get the basket to stay together in one piece.

Feet washer is cheaper: 1) Place cloths in bath tub. 2) Pour a little detergent on clothes 3) Get but naked and turn hot shower on and get in shower. 4) gently sqish clothes with feet and move around the tub for several minutes until soap and sudd dissolve into water 5) pick up clothes and wring out and place on any drying rack. Been doing this for years to save money instead of pilling clothes up in hamper and WASHING CLOTHES EVERY WEEK!!!$$$ WARNING: This work best for single people and not big families 😉.❤
