King of the Monsters is one of the best games ever made. The replay value is absolutely infinite. The graphics, sound, gameplay, and play control were all perfect. The graphics and sound were also so far ahead of their time.

God this game needs to get some kind of remake or sequel or something. Yes I know there is a King of the Monsters 2, but I always preferred the idea of having the city big a giant wrestling ring.

Like the Mega Drive port was? Although it didn’t have the ‘Maser Cannon’ ropes, but it played similarly to the first game, with all the bosses(except for the final one) playable as well as Geon(Super Geon), Woo(Cyber Woo) and Astro Guy(Atomic Guy)

De niño los soundtracks me los pasaba por el culo. Pero este era 3l único que no, no exagero al decir que este fue mi primer soundtrack favorito, siempre estaba ansioso por llegar a este nivel y escuchar la música, hasta perdía tiempo para oírla más y. dunno where you can download it other than for MAME emulator, but I do know you can buy it off of the Wii's shop channel. It's the Neo Geo version too. It costs either 800 or 900 Wii points (I forget which)

@ApacheMan2K ah yes. The funny thing about anyone playing KotM on Nick Arcade was the butchered description and commentary by Phil Moore (who would often call Beetle Mania who is actually a stag beetle a "cockroach")

@KANSASCITYMACK29 don't have it myself but someone else does. can't link because youtube is dumb, but register on forums.ffshrine.org, go to advanced serach, search thread titles for "king of the monsters" in download links forum and it's there. you have to register to download it, but it's better to get it from the source, and hey, maybe you can thank the guy. they have every soundtrack you'd ever want there. i won't be posting the other songs here because... eh.
