the giants issues with the oline last season were primarily the right side, which the fixed by adding last seasons best pass blocking guard and a right tackle who when last played at that position helped bring the panthers to the superbowl and the vikings to the nfc championship game in consecutive years lol. and the giants have plenty of weapons.just no big name ones. golden tates been aberaging 1000 yards a year for like 6 years now and even with the 4 game suspension will likely be around that. everyone seems to ignore sterling shepard exists and darius slaton looks like he can be a damn good target. didnt even mention evan engram or rhett ellison at tight end. giants have plenty of weapons.

@@salvadormuniz2277 when u look at our Recievers our depth isnt bad. There is clearly potential in T.J Jones Alonzo Russel and Brittan Golden. After seeing the Patriots game Zo was a bit iffy but if he makes the team expect big things. We also got Sterling Shepard possibly one of the best Catchers at Slot reciever and not to mention amazing blocker. U got Cody Latimer he is also just ok but he can catch just not a very good route runner. And Golden Tate still has the potential he just needs better WRs around him not to teach him but to take pressure off of him. Alshon Jeffrey last yr took most of the pressure along with Zach Ertz. The Safeties gotta focus on Engram becuz hes a good route runner and simply one of the fastest Tight Ends in the game he just has to work on his hands lol. But overall its not bad when its all put together especially when u have Saquon in the back as a threat in the Run Game u saw how he was simply pulling apart defenses late last season 👀👀. That will definitely take a lot of pressure off all our Recievers and Engram.

John Schmidt actually if you watched him at duke you would have seen a guy whose footwork and release needed tweaking. The progress you are seeing is Schumer, and frankly it’s coming faster than I expected. His mechanical issues in college is why I didn’t buy that he had a weak arm, and I’m not surprised to see the new zip with improved mechanics. I’m shocked the giants cleaned him up so quick.

This Kid is something else. After watching this video. I can see he’s quick decision maker. Makes the right reads and passes it to the open receiver. He scans the whole field and makes quick decisions. Strides ahead of Murray and Haskins. Heck, years from now, The Best QB from this draft might just be Stidham from the Patriots. He's got peyton's mechanics in the pocket for sure. Arm wise it's a little unusual. He's got very good accuracy on mid and long throws that involve power but he doesn't have a cannon for an arm. He kind of reminds me of a mix of Troy Aikman arm and Alex's Smith's athleticism and build later in his career. Keep in mind Jones is 6'5 230 healthy and ran 4.6 40 and a 4.2 20 yard shuttle, I'm not joking the guy is just a jacked up skinny guy with a huge frame who rans as fast as some WR's. If he can stay healthy and on the bench this season he looks to be a Franchise QB next year.

For this preseason Jones has completed 29 out of 34 completions. That is 85.3%... he has scored 2 touchdowns. His QBR is 137.3... Greatest preseason quarterback of all time? I dunno. We'll have to see what he does against first stringers. But Jones's ball placement is impeccable and immaculate. I see great potential for Jones and I see a great future ahead of him. Just hope he does well in the regular season after Eli Manning fucks it all up.

what would the media be saying if the Giants had drafted him at 17 (if he was available)? I think the narrative would be completely different and they would be banging the drum for Jones as a sensation who should be playing week one without question. Arguably, this could not have gone any better for the Giants.
