GB stopping those TD's gave them the momentum, they marched down and scored a td when Rogers had 12 seconds to throw it. Then the payback half-time hail marry td was pretty much the nail in the coffin right there. It would have been a completely different game at that point. I don't know if the Giants would have won in the end but the game would have been a close nail-biter for sure.

The problem with Eli was no consistency. A whopping EIGHT of his seasons were sub-par statistical outings according to various metrics, passer rating being the one I'm using here. That is way too many...you cannot have roughly 50% of your playing time be, not just mediocre, but BELOW MEDIOCRE and get into the Hall. I don't care two SBs, 2 rings is great but come on, that's a lot of bad quarterbacking!!

The predictor had the Giants finishing 10-6 (and also losing to the Cowboys in week 14) supposedly leaving them barely out of the 2nd Wild Card spot with the Redskins and Buccaneers taking the two spots instead. This probably explains why the NFL wussed out and took the predictor down around week 15 or 16 just to avoid looking stupid.

The defense wasn't getting no kinda pass rush going. This could've easily been a shootout. Plus, DRC was injured for this game I believe. That was the only season where Eli Apple was sorta good as the 3rd corner. Wade was so bad at corner especially in the slot, it was terrible to watch. But so many TDs dropped. There was a whole lot of butter on their fingers.

Giants receivers let Eli down this game. So many dropped balls it was crazy to see. Say what you want about Eli in the regular season but Eli always balls out in the playoffs given that opportunity. Just in that first quarter, Shep dropped a TD, OBJ dropped a TD.
