Brad Keselowski's gotten a notorious reputation w/ the fans, but here's a little comparison I wanted to make on the previously most-hated/least favored driver on the circuit, Kyle Busch:Keselowski: Most of the things Keselowski has done has been clearly on accident. Some of the stuff you can say he was being more aggressive than he needed to be, but it was still mostly unintentional none the less.Busch: The 2011 Southern 500 and the 2011 Truck Series race at Texas were both clearly intentional. He knew exactly what he was doing when he wrecked both of them. You could say his anger got the best of him, but still. Now, Kyle hasn't driven that devious since, but his notorious reputation is a little more justified than BK's. Although I do think that some of Keselowski's moves he makes are boneheaded, the result is usually accidental.
@o0oStillWeRiseo0o8 жыл бұрын

@nascarfanatic2425 Жыл бұрын
@@BettiHaynes I can't really defend the Kenseth incident, but prior to that, it wasn't really Keselowski being dirty; he was aggressive. Take his first win, for example. Was it ethically questionable what he did to Carl Edwards? No doubt, but Keselowski didn't have very many options. He was going for the win, Carl threw a late block, and if Keselowski let Carl Edwards force him below the yellow line to pass, Keselowski would've been penalized for passing below the yellow line. And if you don't believe me, go back to the fall Talladega race the year before.

Brad could not have been killed by this. Atlanta, yes, defenitely, but not here. None of these hits were on the drivers side and were towards the front and back of the car instead of the center. Maybe enough to get a concussion but not enough to kill.
@cocacola150dr7 жыл бұрын

Here's the deal; if you're gonna bump and run, do it in the final corner. Don't do it in turn two where the other guy has another chance to come back to you. (I know Brad got tight in this case, and couldn't really help it though)
@thomasbishop90986 жыл бұрын
Jesse Mullen here's the real deal, it wasn't intended as a bump and run. You race hard and you find the limits. Brad lost front traction, tapped Carl. He did enough to not take Carl out. Carl just couldn't pull away, Brad had the faster run, Carl put on his Super Crybaby (I'm beat) Cape, and said I will just wreck him.
@jessemullen90836 жыл бұрын
I know, but for drivers intent =/= result. They operate on an eye for an eye mindset. The result was that Brad slid up into Carl and took the lead from him. So Carl took it back anyway he could. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but that's how NASCAR works nowadays
@wintunnel2312 жыл бұрын

Carl put himself into the fence at Talladega. Brad tried on the outside, Carl blocked, Brad went to the inside, Carl tried to block again and wrecked himself in the process. That was not Keselowski's fault at all there. He had nowhere to go. Also, this is a Carl - Brad deal. Other drivers have nothing to do with this. And the times Brad "wrecked" Carl were far less dangerous than the moves Carl did. If you dump somebody, at least don't put drivers health into jeopardy.
@BettiHaynes Жыл бұрын

@SlamDuncDrummer12 жыл бұрын
No, racing is like Keselowski and JJ at Texas or Kyle Busch and Cale Gale at Homestead. They raced as hard, they bumped, nudged and banged but neither dumped the other. This was payback which I am not opposed to at all, but you don't pay someone back while you are near the front of the entire field at a fast, narrow track like Gateway. There was no where for anyone to go and they all drove full speed in to the pile up. That is dangerous for everyone.
@ILoveKeselowski11 жыл бұрын

Brad would prevail and take the Championship. So Carl can shove it. I still hold both of the incidents between he and Brad against Carl. And before you say that Brad was a Cup driver and go on that bull crap rant about how Cup drivers shouldn't run in Nationwide races, sure he may have been in a full time Cup car that year, but he knew he had a legitamate shot at Nwide, more than Cup at the time, and he struggled in Cup that year. So IMO Brad was still a Nationwide Series driver back then. That's just my opinion.

Carl just dumped him, plain and simple. Now maybe Carl had reason to dump him from earlier in the race but he could have dumped him earlier or done it in such a way that it wasn't so dangerous. The two times that Carl has blatantly dumped Brad he has nearly killed him. He needs to think that through a bit. Taladega was a different situation as Brad had made is one and only move and was on the yellow line. Carl came down on him in a blocking maneuver and wrecked himself. I am a CE fan.
