Gibson says "A Revolutionary Take on the Classic Jumbo".
I say "A cool (but not revolutionary) take".
Big jumbo sound with a Sitka top and walnut back and sides - so it's got that J200-esque brightness even without maple.
As much as my traditionalist sensibility doesn't want to like Gibson's "Player Port", it really does what it's intended to do and makes for a nice listening experience for the player.
Guitar is put together nicely and is reasonably priced for a guitar made in the USA these days. Nice work Gibson.
