Yup..LPs for me personally are top tier guitars.if u cant afford one there are so many amazing epis now adays...i toured with a gibson LP standard ,a 2010 prophecy LP ( 2knob,dirty finger pups) and a 2000 3 pup black beauty epi..after 6 months out of yrs i feel in love with my prophecy gx and my LP custom..they really held up. As far as pups if u have a high gain amp then the pups that are around7k-10k are perfect...some high k. Pups from gibson and bareknuckle still sound amazing through a high gain amp but usually this is what i found...shit even the pro buckers are great and if i didnt mention, i played in a "metalcore" band so I used this equipment for super distorted tones. What I'm saying is there's a lot of good epiphones out there and to give some a shot ,I think you'd be surprised.. From 2000 and up they have a lot of really good stuff And of course there are early Japanese stuff is great and Korean stuff half the time you can find a really good guitar .. But if you are ordering your guitar offline I will go from the early two thousands to now..I have one now that plays incredible... much love yall Thanks for reading my book😂... Just trying to help😅

For sure! I’ve had every budget imaginable (under $15,000 of course). I had a few Epiphones years and years ago and LOVED them… until I didn’t. But when I loved them, no one on this planet could have convinced me that they weren’t the best guitars ever made. They fit me like a glove at the time! That was what was important. I couldn’t fathom paying $10,000 for a guitar back then, I would have thought I was NUTS! If I didn’t have the budget for the guitars that I have now then I would definitely be looking at Epiphones. I think it would take me a lot longer to find one that works for me, but they are certainly out there and there’s lots available to choose from! Cheers -Ryan
