I bought exactly that LP in early '22. Two years down the line it's already starting to look really nicely "un-new". The metal parts have all become tarnished and the finish is dulling. As with every LP I've owned I took the scratch plate off. Still smells amazing thanks to the nitro. Enjoy!

I can't wait for mine to start ageing! Has the nitro started to 'check' yet? always wondered how long that takes, I've read temperature has a lot to do with it. Ive never taken the scratch plates off, i'm a bit of a purist like that though haha Thanks for commenting! :)

@@kemdo123 no checking yet but the all the areas where hands and arms etc contact the body and neck when playing are obviously “rubbed”. When I polish the back of the neck now the finish is like glass…super smooth.
