Really nice playing comparison. Prs for me. I loved my 75 les paul custom still in our family and 60s sg and 71 Stratocaster, but my 5 prs herd se s2 and soon core are my go to

PRS for the win. Great playing.🎸🇺🇸

Both sound great. I have both (well a McCarty 594) and they are great for different reasons. If I had to pick one it’d be the PRS.

Same here, my 594 is in a league of its own!

Wow, both sound great (because of the player) I think I prefer the LP for sound, however, I'll bet the DGT plays so much better and is more comfy

They both sound great. Overall, I prefer the sound of the PRS.

Hello and thank you for your superb video ;) what are the prices of each guitar because the PRS has several prices, what is the price of this model? thanks in advance.

Every DGT to me is always what I describe as HD sound.. They stand out always.

Great playing! Could you tell me where to buy the 2nd backing track which starts from 0:57?

I prefer the Les Paul....sweeter and more balanced. It could be the amp settings?
@8sigreg3 жыл бұрын
The amp sounds pretty bright. It might be the mic or the settings. My DGT has a smoother and deeper tone and sounds like real PAFs. David Grissom has a bunch of live videos that will give you a better idea how the guitar is supposed to sound.

@@8sigreg yep...I used to live right down the road from Antones on Guadalupe, and would see David regularly, but this was back in 93 -96'. He was using McCarty trem models through an old plexi... incedible... my ears def. got demolished, but hey I loved it!

PRS, easily for me on sound. Even easier knowing their QA control vs. Gibson.
@j.rozman70163 жыл бұрын
its not exactly the same price range. My Knaggs Kenai T2 has top (prs) quality/playability and aesthetics, but at the same time vintage LP tone...best of both worlds!
@thebigsil3 жыл бұрын
Les Paul is soo much more clear. PRS always has this unclear midrange overtone in all notes. It’s because of the place of the pickups. Les Paul wins by far.

I’m a DGT fan all the way but I have to agree with you on this one. The Les Paul sounds much clearer with a tighter attack and bite.
@brandonreed65283 жыл бұрын
@@KunalSinghMusic yea I am a dgt guy as well but the les Paul sounds much better here. Thinking you’d just tweak the amp and be just fine
@chuckdriver82693 жыл бұрын
The DGT has a 22 fret neck, pickup placement won’t be pushed back to accommodate the extra frets. Amp settings for both guitars was a little muddy for my taste.

Give it a rest ya stooge
@jlr0221593 жыл бұрын
DGT has a better overall response here... hands down. The LP was also muddy in the bottom end.
