It certainly feels like the price of this one reflects the fact that the consumer is making an additional, direct charity donation of over a third of the RRP of the guitar. That makes for a limited choice for the consumer. Not sure a specific shade of blue and the 'sig of Rick' justifies this as a sensible choice for most. I'm sure that they will sell out though, given his kudos.

I have a 2006 that in 2006 I had a Duncan Pearly gates put at the bridge. @PlayandTradeGuitars2 жыл бұрын
no neck dive on this one! Very well balanced. I was told the SG has neck dive because it was originally designed to have the heavy vibrola tail piece which balanced it
@WitchyWagonReal Жыл бұрын
Being an SG player for several decades... I feel like one can incorporate the neck dive into one's playing with some practice... using it to a positional advantage. For instance, when playing rock that requires hybrid rhythm/lead, one can play riffs up top low, then let the dive shift the high register of the neck to a more parallel position to shoot off lead licks... and then swing it back up again. I dunno if this makes sense... and it might not be suitable for all styles. But with the Rock and hard rock... I have now thought of that neck dive as something I couldn't live without. 🤔 Experiment! Cheers

I think having a Rick Beato signature guitar thing is strange. Signature guitars were released to honour exceptional guitarists who brought something new to the art. Whilst I'm happy to admit that Beato is a fine musician and a very sound teacher/professor, he is no guitar hero. Yes, he is a extraordinarily good KZbinr but this smacks of a Gibson money grab. Luckily you can replace the truss rod cover.and hold on to it for resale.

Seems like all these RB signatures ended up with youtubers. They all apparently feel the need to review this guitar, as they hope for plenty views and clicks. @@johnsmith-ug5tp I don't have time to give you my 17 credit hours of economics but you are missing some things here. Inflation is compounded. Just because the average rate is about 3.5 percent a year doesn't mean that will give you a total. You have to add the first years increase. Then the next has a larger total to add to. You also have to add incremental increases for supply chain, logistics, labor, overhead and a million other things. Most of these have increased much faster than inflation.
