All it had was some tiny dings on the back. It weighs about 75 pounds, but those mini buckers sound great. I like to think where they will be in 15 years when every last boomer is dead. Will they even have enough people buying their goods to keep them in business? I don’t know, and frankly I don’t care. Inflation adjust for original 1950s and 1960s Gibson models (get prices from old catalogs) and factor in what you got (exact materials etc) and try to convince anyone that they’re getting a good deal from Gibson today. The USA original line is not equivalent in parts and specs to the original 1950s/60s guitar models. You know what other company you can do this with? Rolex. They spend more on advertising than most other watch companies combined and who pays for it? The customers who spend 8k +/- on a steel Submariner that’s really just a $1200 watch at best. These companies are taking their customers for a ride.
