Thanks for the great vid. I was able to do this for the passenger side lamp (UK) without using the jack or removing the wheel. Had to do it by snaking my hand up and doing it purely by feel. Wow, talk about crazy design! Thanks!

Once you have disconnected the connector, you must twist the bulb holder.

@@GicaPhp The problem is the connector will not disconnect from the bulb holder. That is why I asked if it is held by a catch or clip, or does it just pull/push on/off? I can't remove it. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the question, and no, you can not completly turn them off as they are controlled by and ips within the e/r jb. But you can disconnect/remove the bulbs and you're done.

@@benoirwertzner1247 Another way is to lift the front end, remove the bumper undertray (3 bolts and 4 clips if I remember correctly) and you will be able to do it from underneath

with a bit o practive and long hands yes. you could also do it if you take the 1st part of the undertray which is attached to the bumper directly (3 bolts and 2 clips)

Can anyone advise,with out the vehicle going on the ramp is it possible to do it from just jacking it up. I’ve tried but can’t reach it. I only used a standard jack. May be there is a way?

You can do it without jacking the car, steer to one side, remove de clips holding the inner wing then it's all about reaching the connector, disconnect it, them twist and remove the bulb holder along with the bulb. I will do a video soon on how to do it on the floor.

just look on any video that shows you how to remove front headlight on i10 and once removed you will reach the bulb , no need to work underneath the car or lift it up on pavement.@@bdaboah

My first failure on sidelight bulb replacement - couldn't see the bulb holder even with wheel arch liner removed. Terrible vehicle design.

Also you can do it if you remove the undertray that is attached to the bumper (4 clips and 3 bolts if I remember correcy. I will upload another video soon how you can change the left and right side bulb 💡
