I really like watching you, you guys farm like we used to 60 years ago. Cattle fed on mostly hay with a little added grain. We had cob corn, and an old hammer mill powered by a Ford 8N. We gave each cow 1 large coffee can full of the millings and added minerals with a little salt and all the hay they wanted. Our barn had an artesian well that kept the milk cold, and then watered the livestock. Keep up the good work!

Boy you folks bring back the memories when I grew up on the farm the work never stops we raised beef cattle so the chores never seemed to end but I still miss it to this day, taking care of the cattle everyday bedding the barn feeding morning and nite throwing down hay into the hay bunk keeping the mineral boxes filled and salt licks plus the club calves my brother and I had in separate pen haling water hot in the winter and feed and of course cleaning the pen weekly always something to do! Great content ❤️ the videos

Greatings from North Dakota! Where it has also been pretty cold! Depending on which part of the state you are in, we have had some -20 to -50 degree wind chills. Brrrrrr! Great video, Aaron! Covered all the tasks of an average day on a small dairy farm. The work never ends, does it. I like this video because it shows people who aren't familiar with farming how well you take care of all of your cattle every day. From nutritional value, to the facilities you have to keep them out of the frigid winter elements, and the clean and healthy environment you have for them..... I was wondering about that auger under that grainery when you backed that grinder mixer up to grind the shelled corn. Thanks for showing that. Good way to repurpose an old auger you no longer needed for it's primary purpose, and it made that part of your process easier and faster. That must have been some George ingenuity! As far as what I would like to see, I'd like to see more of milking time from start where you bring the cows into the barn, to the milking process, to the final cleanup of the system. I think that would be great for adults and kids who think their milk just comes from the supermarket. You Gieorck's all stay safe and stay warm!

Pretty slick system of getting shelled corn out. Pretty similar to what we use to do only we filled up a gravity wagon of oats. Dad would call the local feed mill with a truck an elevator pick up the oats an cob corn. Couple hours later the bulk truck with the auger comes by an fill up the ground feed bin that is up by the hay mow.

Next phase after merch, retail direct shipments of beef. Partner with gundersons locker mondovi after processing to lease freezer space and ship. The more retail direct including selling cheese from your regenerative grazing farm. Try gundersons smoked venison ring sausage. Better than backstraps.

Do you and your brothers see yourselves farming either with your family or on your own? Since you have been buying equipment are you gonna try to buy or rent more land than what you already do? I really enjoy watching your family farm. Reminds me working with my family on the farm as a kid. The way your dad explains things is the way my dad did. My dad started farming with horse and plow as a kid and young man. Then he switched to tractors when he was in his 40s after leaving the farm during WW11 working in the mines. Keep up the awesome videos and God bless your and your family.

What is the nutrition difference between shelled corn and cob corn ? is it the cob that makes the difference and do you chop the cob up? Me and my son has been raising our own cattle for us to eat so just trying to learn as much as I can.and I got to say ur channel has lot more information about farming then others do.i appreciate yaw taking the time to teach us dummies in the world. U and ur dad is so valuable. To people like my self a lot of channels really don’t teach nothing. They just showing what they do day to day. But not really much learning information so I appreciate y’all for doing this. Also I love how u farm on low budget unlike lot farms thinks it take all new equipment to be successful
