I wondered what RF5 video you were about to make, lol. I remember about two weeks after the game came out-I found a Japanese wiki and wrote down in a text file loved and liked craftables for each villager, and I've since memorized most of them since I've 100%'d this game twice already. So the hand-made bonus is literally 10% of whatever the amount is, which really adds up after a while. Cecil likes brooches btw, which requires you to have access to platinum-and not care what his accessory is. About the fish: Skipjack are twice as common in the ocean of Fores Forest as they are in the pond. Shrimp are a summer-only fish in Rigbarth, so you're better off either getting it from cloudheim F1 or the pond from the Kelb portion of the overworld. You can also ship one shrimp and buy a bunch from Hina when she's working-I love that feature. You touched on the way to power-level all your crafting skills in RF5, by the way. Failing over and over again at your highest difficulty recipe with all your RP and nearly all your HP, then refilling it with either the infinite free baths at the beginning of the game or just cheating with level 10 formuade and crafting endlessly (preferably with a heart pendant equipped for double experience) is the way to do it. Just a word of caution. If you fill your inventory with 40 something hand-made items you're going to get like 3 stacked sound-glitches basically every time while giving gifts. I usually have to mute until I'm done to save my ears. As always, thanks for the video Josh. Looking forward to the English release of this.

I'm amazed as always by your knowledge. I didn't know for the shrimps that they were only in Rigbarth for the summer 😭All the wikis are lacking these kind of details still. I'll pin your comment so people know! edit: are you sure for the shrimps? I just got them in spring in my other save file, at the same spot in Rigbarth

@@JoshGamingGarden You are indeed correct about the shrimp in Spring, and I had to find out why. Turns out, there's a fallback pool of fish to catch in areas that don't normally have fish. In Spring, it's 50% shrimp and 50% trash. In Summer, it's 90% Shrimp. In Fall, it's 80% Salmon with rare Shrimp and trash. It's literally only trash in Winter. Okay, that's good to know. Thanks for bringing this up.

About skipjack, the best place to get it is the pond with all the ribbitees in Whispering Woods 1F. The big fish are Skipjack 99% of the time (not actual number, but I only got one non-Skipjack big fish).

Reinhardt also loves some Recipe Breads. Since when the player upgrades the Bakery they will be able to receive more Recipe Bread than they can use if you buy out the Bakery daily. Some other NPCs also love specific types of Recipe Breads. Darroch loves Crafting and Weapon Breads for example. Elsje likes Cooking Breads. So on and so forth.

Specifically anything with chocolate, which Murakumo really HATES it. Chocolate is deadly poisonous to both cats/big cats and dogs/wolves thanks to a chemical compound called theobromine which is unpleasantly bitter. Bitter taste is usually associated with poison.

@@LittleWerewolfPlushie It is. Still not sure if Murakumo can eat onion or not since it's also toxic to cats and dogs. Though judging from the food he loves, he has a thing for stew dishes. He cooked free Stamina Stew for customers in one of his private conversations.

The higher level failed dish is a great tip but watch your stamina to make sure it won't kill you, lol.

Oooooh I wonder how this game fares vs RF4? I've been having fun with 4 (I'm new to the series) but I get totally lost with the whole levelling crafting by spamming thing. I'm used to traditional farming type games. I may still get RF5 though! (PS am I the only one who finds it kinda hilarious your main character running around with an item stack higher than them? XD)

I know. Sometimes Target sells out of special items bcuz Ebay sellers mass buy items. Target is great about delivery out here so I know I'll get ontime or on release date. Amazon wasn't offering the special edition yet. Nintendo Store wasn't carrying it either.

@@Ghost-ul8eu At least we can play as a girl. A lot of games I skip bcuz of that. I dragged playing Ocean because it was weird still a guy but with your sister a ghost host? It was a good game except for that.I waited until I knew more b4 buying RF4 because of that. Despite the childish graphics it was a fun game.
